This week, Ash faces off against Jackson, and manages to advance with a tie.
The only real major change here (besides taking Team Rocket out and moving Macy's last little appearance to next time), was rewriting Ash's team to account for the fact he does not have his Bulbasaur (Saria) in the remixed team. I chose to replace Saria with Luce so Ash would get his first chance to use Mega Evolution in the League (which is not against the rules), and add a little more drama to an already exciting match.
I chose to move Macy's last little appearance to next week's episode so her words of encouragement are a bit more meaningful against a major opponent like Gary.
Next time, Ash and Gary face off in a match for the ages!
