Pics or it didn't happen (Part 7)

But you're gonna have to read on to see them. Well, there's actually only one... and I probably shouldn't have said that, but oh well!

So, yeah. I went to Ireland for four days this week. For no other reason than flights were ridiculously cheap (it seriously cost less to travel to Ireland by plane than it did to travel to Canada by bus) and that I had nothing better to do other than escape the house from the incessant barking of a neighbour's dog I was looking after. And before anyone says anything, the dog didn't die (as much as I would have liked her to) as the rest of my family had the wonderful misfortune of looking after the barky fleabag. Ugh... I'm so glad she's gone. Out of my life, that is, not out of the universe. Seriously, everything triggered a bark: door-ringings, fridge-openings, TV-turnings-on, and often ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL!

But I'm getting off topic. I also went to see Gavin (Abnegation). And Drakow thought it'd be fun to come along as well! We both obviously had nothing better to do, but I don't think Drakow had a dog to escape from... he's more of a cat man, apparently. In any event, Drakow said he's going to write approximately 10,000 words on the subject of this trip, so in order not to completely undercut everything he's going to say, I'm just going to make this list of things that we did, set to the tune of the Pokemon: Johto Journeys intro (shorter version). Because that became the unofficial anthem of the trip. Hooray? Hooray, indeed.

Lost my hoodie in the airport (the airport)
GOING TO IRELAND
Do do do do do do do, do do do do do do
Meeting Gavin at the bus terminal
Taking me to see his house and friends
Driving all around the roads of Ireland
Fearing for my life at ev'ry turn
Two dogs, one cat
And a road trip up a picturesque mountain
Great food, and drink
From Gav's girlfriend and from Quiznos
Ireland's sort of like Canada (similar to the UK)
In that things are the same but not (like the US and Canada)
It's a whole new place with a brand new attitude
But we still saw the Spidey film
In a big ol' cinema (but they don't have sweet popcorn)
Going to Ireland (and having a little party)
We went to Bunratty Castle (Castle)
And we saw Weedle in a cloud
But then it was time to go (playing lots of Mario Kart)

Haha I know I said I'd write a 10,000 word entry but that is going to be a tall order even for me. I'll try though. In any event, it will take some time cause I have some other stuff to take care of but I'll try and get it done within the span of a week or so.
