This week, Misty's Pokethlon challenge continues, while the boys have their own terrifying encounter.
The second trainer Ash encounters was a brand new COTD for this scene, to make up for Casey being moved (since Casey was originally in that scene.) The scene also foreshadows Luce's evolution next episode.
Since Brock doesn't really get anything to do in the original version, I had him rescue Ash by shooting down Team Rocket's balloon again, and inducing Argent again (but we are getting close to Ash and Misty getting Mega Rings of their own)
I also couldn't resist foreshadowing RSE in Misty paraphrasing "This Dream" in the last scene.
