Now here we go, this I assure you is a juicy entry. :D As always, possible spoiler, read at your own risk. Mork might bite too. And if you're following us, don't hesitate to leave a comment, keeps my fuel running when I know some people are actually reading. Unfortunately, not an onslaught of pictures, I didn't get um, sorry. D:

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Okay, so where were we? Ah, right, finished off Marz and Team Galactic fled Valley Windworks. Now we heard north to face the flood of trainers before Eterna Forest, Route 205. Eight trainers eager to take my squad on. Before we attempt to run through them, do some more training with Mork, because I really want to get Gyarados now. This slow pace is not the best thing going. During this we find another Buizel, this time I capture it and named it Zet. He wanted a name, he got one. XD Should provide some much needed priority and ability to finish. Although the team's grass weakness, jeez. o_o We'll be relying heavily on T.S for these upcoming battles and Gym. Anyway, battling some of the trainers, only thing bothering us was Pachirisu. Yes, Nica finished them off, but still annoying as heck to take down. After finishing the trainers, collecting some berries, I had a wild battle and the result? Mork, aka Magikarp, finally evolves. That awesome Gyarados sprite continues to drop my jaw. :O

Enter the forest, and wow, what an improvement visually. The rays of sun spear through the trees and it really gives everything a "wow, this is a forest" kinda feel. Of course, the multiple double battles with Chansey healing me after every battle. Mork and T.S (Gyarados & Ponyta) cleaned every one of them, no Wurmple could take them. >:D Another change I noticed, Hidden Power actually looks much better this time. The bugs were easy, navigating the forest, easy, changes to everything, welcome. The changes weren't huge, still have to direct her through the forest, etc, but jeez, those sun rays are awesome enough.

We finally finish, say the good byes, and now the fun. ...The Magikarp Guy. Six mini-Morks, the final one even being level 16! :O ...Haha, making fun of him isn't cool though, as we all know he'll be my speed effort value target training later on down the road when English comes out. Well hey, some training for Deano and 512 buckerues.

Wind up in Eterna city to meet Takao, who takes me to the statue (Still looks like a merge of Palkia and Dialga to me.) Cyrus was there, with his maniac-like rambling. (Can't understand it either, yay) Whatever he said, Takao was all exclamation point heavy on me, whatever. XD Walking back Cynthia pops up, gives me HM Cut. (Made my groan, since I don't have anyone in my party at the moment to use it, snap, where's a Scyther / Cherrim when you need one?) D:

Looking at the team, frankly Nica is the "dead" weight, along with Zet (whom I haven't really had the chance to use yet anyway) Which concerns the core of the team, really. I can drop Zet if something better walks along, but I can't really lose Nica. She's the HM slave, but I also rely on her (along with the two intimidaters Mork & Deano) to sponge physical hits. :/ Why does Nica have to be so stubborn when it comes to training her. D: She wont play a role in the upcoming battle against Gardenia. Grass would destroy her faster than "Aw, snap!" If anybody is going to come in handy there, it'll be T.S, Ponyta.

I wanted to wait until daylight came to continue on to the battle against Gardenia, since it's cool to have sunny Cherrim. :x So, heading back to Florama town to check out what the honey brought. *crosses fingers* Please be a Heracross. ...I check the shaking tree, and by Arceus I have witnessed the worst sprite of today's gen, Aipom. Seriously, it's horrific. o_o T-That face... It doesn't look like a smile, more like a "Hi, someone punched me with a horseshoe" ...Not catching that, heck no. I just let Nica rock smash it to oblivion. A disappointment, but oh well.

After that, we go all the way back to Eterna, prepared to face Gardenia. Obviously she specializes in Grass types, which from the looks of my team... three-four party members take some serious damage from her. We enter the Gym, and wow. o_o Seriously, I knew about the revamp, but to see it in action was pretty kewl. Once you battle one of the Trainees, it's no turning back the clock, go cheap and heal at the Pokémon Center. These battles coupled with Gardenia will count too. T.S finishes off all of them with relative ease, except some aren't burned to bits in one go, so they paralyze him. :/ I use an item because no way in Giratina's hell would I have my Trump Card 1/4 speed for a Gym battle. After defeating all of her assistants, the clock focuses at an angle to approach her. And now, time to fight for the Forest Badge.

As you can see, another high quality image to start the battle. Still lovin' that. She of course came with animation too. To be completely honest, I underestimated her, which was a big mistake. I did that with Roark and what happened? Cranidos almost flattened the entire team. I lead off with Ponyta and she sends out a Lv 20 Turtwig. Ponyta, T.S, is around level sixteen. I lead up with Ember, and it doesn't completely take it out. So it attacks, taking a surprisingly large chunk out of T.S. (Possibly a critical hit, but I couldn't tell) I ember right back and finish Turtwig off. Another note, it was one level higher than Diamond/Pearl. I was expecting Cherrim to come out at this point, and it did. For whatever reason, I thought it'd be sunshine form, when in fact it wasn't. :'( I decided to switch around, hoping sunshine would eventually pop up, thinking it'd be nice to have a screenshot of, also thinking it had Sunny Day. :\ But it took another chunk out of some Party members I realize this isn't good, at all. (As most were weakened my previous battles to preserve T.S) With Ponyta not in the best condition, and a much faster Roserade coming up, I'd have to work around it.

A Grass Knot could easily work it into KO range, so I Ember, take the hit. Rose was also burned on the hit, and there was my very small, but open window of chance to grab a win. Obviously, T.S won't be able to win it since he can't finish it off. So I made a change in strategy mid-game, I'd continuously switch, letting burn take it's tole. And bye the end of it, it'll be enough for a win. I switch over to other members, going exactly as planned. Piplup, Luxio, Onix, Buizel all fall, while burn slowly kills Rose. Two members left, weakened Ponyta and Gyarados (Cherrim & previous battles got Mork a bit) :/ I send out T.S and she uses a Full Restore. Here I am refraining from using items and WHAM! That... hurt. I get in the Ember, which takes a sizable amount out. T.S faints next turn to Grass Knot. Gyarados came in, and Roserade is faster, right? Right?! I was prepared to face my first defeat...

...
