The trip to Houston got cancelled. There was an emergency at work.

So, I never really explained what I've been doing for a job. Lately these days it has been taking most of my time, but it's more flexible than the previous job that I was in (the bank job). To be honest, although it pays a little less than the other job, I actually really love the environment here. I feel like I actually fit in with the people here at work. I even get along with the managers well. I work in the afternoons inside a small corner where I am surrounded by infected computers as well as tech stuff that needs fixing. That is pretty much my niche there.

Every week is different. Usually I'm off for three days a week, sometimes two, and, like this week, one. I'm ALWAYS off Sundays, which is great. So I am never scheduled on Sundays unless there's a crapload to do or work gets shortstaffed. The last time I worked on a Sunday was when I had to work the day before I left for California last year.

But yes, two computers yesterday and today were taken in for a virus removal. One of them had a severe case because a virus codenamed Osiris had taken over most of the hard drive files, and killed several several sectors of the hard drive. We had to get it replaced asap, which the customer has to pay more for the services (including a brand new hard drive). I've done so many virus removals, data transfers, and setups since I first started, and it's pretty cool. I've been learning so much, even more than in school and at the previous job.

Tomorrow I go back to work and I'm going to enjoy it so much, lmao. Then Sunday I'm off, and I'm looking forward to that day off!
