This week, Ash and the gang learn that the old man that rescued them during the battle with the Rockets is the Gym Leader, Pryce--and that he was not always a cynic.
This episode was fairly easy to write, considering the epic storyline we just concluded and the Gym match that will serve as the 100th episode of the story. Once Episode 100 goes up next week, there will be 22 more episodes left in the story (the remix of Gotta Catch You Later is actually the story's epilogue rather than a proper episode)
I didn't have that much to change--simply replace Team Rocket with Kamon (as a result of what happened in the last two episodes and this sounded like something Kamon would do), and update Rest to its most current description, including what happens when affected by the Psychic Z Crystal (which is known as the Eterna Tourmaline in the remixed canon)
With the story reaching its 100th episode next time, I just want to thank everyone for their feedback, encouragement, and sticking with me this far--knowing that people were reading (even if they didn't always leave a comment) gave me the motivation to expand this story into its own universe, and will continue to grow when Shine Diamond begins next year.
