PGE creating errors in Rom

Hi please can you help. I've been using PGE 3.8 to add more mons into my Fire Red rom hack i've run in to some trouble with moves. All movesets are being copied over to each new mon and I noticed they are all pointed to the same number. They all seem to share the same pointer number as Unown and as a result all the Unowns also share all the same moves. However I use free space finder and point it to the new free space. It clears all the moves. You can't add any new ones and then the program closes due to an error. When you go back on the mon and go to movesets the program closes in error every time. Is it my rom that has an issue or is it a serious error with PGE that needs to be fixed. Any help will be great thanks.

PGE is crap, I don't want to be mean but it always displays errors, I can't even open the pokemon editor or anything.

Did you check the jambohack when you try to add or edit their movesets?

I am not sure if your ROM is healthy.
As if you expand your pokemons using PGE, all the new pokemons will use Bulbasaur's moveset and cry.
Of course it is if you use vanilla.

PGE is crap, I don't want to be mean but it always displays errors, I can't even open the pokemon editor or anything.

I beg to differ, imo PGE is actually the friendliest tool to use if you are still a newbie.

Hi yes I checked the jambohack when expanding I also ticked the Japanese one? Maybe that's where I went wrong. I remember previously it did have all of Bulbasaurs moves but this time around it doesn't seem so.

I like using PGE for the many things it can do but I think i'm going to try using Gen 3 Suite instead to add mons to see if that works.

It's JPAN, one of the legendary ROMhacker / researcher back in the day.

That save block recycles should be ticked the first time you expand your pokemon, and if you want to expand furthermore. Do not tick it and simply expand.

Thank you I appreciate your help. I have started all over again and just using G3HS as PGE kept giving me errors. I managed to re point moves individually without any issues. So let's hope it goes well and I can finally do the rom hack i've always wanted.
