Easy to use and understand, yes. Actually suitable as reference material, no. You can't rely on it when it's been written by someone without any authority. No not really for me. If we are talking about wikipedia, massive rapidly growing encyclopedia on the internet, it is layed out very well and easy to use. I use my cursor to help me read and just click links of other words that i do not know that have articles on them aswell which are important in understanding what I am reading about.
I don't see what's so slow about a book. Sure, you have to find it first but once you get it the index isn't hard to find. Plus books are usually more detailed and while they may be a bit harder to understand, when you read it you'll learn more.I'm going to have to agree with Kyen here, Wikipedia you can search what you want and have it immediatley, it also has links to other realated links for the thing your looking at. (Looking at an anime, and you can go to another wiki about an individual character.)
Dude, you're highlighting the usefulness of wikipedia by using anime as an example, and Naruto no less >.>There has only been one instance where I've actually seen false information editted on Wikipedia. After I read the Jiraiya vs. Pein battle from Naruto, I looked up a bio of Konan to see if there was anymore info about her other than she is an Akatsuki member. When I looked at the bio, it said she was the mother of Naruto who had abandoned him as a child to join Akatsuki and cleanse the world as Pein described. However, when I refreshed the page, the information was removed. So being able to edit also allows people who want the right information available to easily correct it.
No bias? hah! That's an unattainable goal, everything has bias. Also, I love Wikipedia, it's very good for general information on any topic and very up-to-date, although one shouldn't rely on it solely. There's an entire team of people who go around checking the information and making sure hot articles, such as maybe the 2008 Presidential Elections, aren't too biased or full of lies.
I'm just going to change the topic now, as I am bored.
I watched Rove last night, and I must admit it was quite funny. But suprisingly, there was an utter let down... by Lady Gaga.
Yes, many countries do. According to a friend of mine though, he eats children.I'm sure other countries get rove, after all, how can you not love the guy?
It was not a re-run. I just watch it on Fridays, because thats when it's on IN NEW ZEALAND.Meh, I don't know maybe he was watching a re-run? Also, I know of Rove and I don't live in Aussie Ville.
^, and no. I live in New Zealand.Doesn't Rove play on Sundays?
and you live in Australia?
