World Wide Forum Ranking

I always like the Pokecommunity for many reasons. I knew this was a very successful forum and today I ran into something. It was the forum ranking of all the forums in the world. I went through and found PokeCommunity.

The ranking (I think it was based on posts) was 351 of all forum of all subjects and languages. I also found Serebii on it, which was 189 (this is a better rank, but I still prefer Pokecommunity over Serebii).

I thought I should share this with all the other members here. This community really is a great community. I hope it continues to grow and be active. Thank you for reading my feedback.

PC actually has more total accounts registered than SPPf as of recently, but they have way more posts and more members online at once than us.

Really though it's not a competition. The two forums are way different from each other, some people prefer SPPf over how we do things here on PC. Some prefer PC over SPPf (and some just don't know the other exists. XD)

At any rate, moving this off to OC, it's more suited for that forum since it's not really feedback or a question or anything.

PC's rom hacking section is what keeps me coming, nothing else is too interesting to me.

PC rocks... Serebii is somewhat... uh.... not really great.
The only good thing about serebii is their pokedex and stuff. And PC has more members(I think) to interact with.

Serebii has pissed but not ass censored. You cant talk bout cheat devices and everything about the future is unallowed. PC is better but meh whatever.

*shruggs* I only use Serebii for their PokéDex and AttackDex for RolePlays. I think PC has better layouts and nicer people, anyways. Well, I've never been to Serebii Forums, but I know PC is nicer. c:

I registered on Serebii, but never posted. Still their website is awesome.

Anyway, I would say PC is the best out their, it has so much thing many other forum lack. The best, in my opinion, being the Rom Hacking and the Game Development areas.

I honestly agree. Their sig rules are annoying, plus you can't work with CSS or change font sizes >.> And I'd like to see more avatars.

And PC is really much nicer. I think people only voted Serebii because of all the info. it gave on Pokemon (no matter how many grammatical errors I find on the main site >.>).

I think PC has a wonderful environment.
I have been on LOTS of Pokemon forums.
This on is by far my favorite.
I'm not sure why people here are nicer than people in other places.. but they really are!

Lol, if you actually wanted PC to get to the top, then you're competing with friggin' 4chan, who surprisingly, is only at number 2.

But anyway, I prefer PC for its layouts, nicer people, etc. Somethings Serebii does better and somethings PC does better. It isn't really a competition, I would much rather have two big forums than one.

Do you ever see PC with a server error every hour? Nope. Unless your computer has viruses... But that's not PC's problem, is it?

Edit: PC is 65 for number of pageviews. I suppose that may be a good thing? XD

Big-Boards simply ranks the size of a board. Since Serebii gets way more posts than we do and has a higher volume of traffic, they're higher on the list. It has nothing to do with the quality of either board--simply quantity.

That said, I've always preferred PC. Nothing at all about SPPf clicks for me, hence why I don't even bother to maintain an account there.

It's because we're the shizz and that's all there is to it. It goes for all sections here. We don't ban people because their signature is too colorful or some other reason that's complete nonsense. On top of that, our skins (and members) are sexier.

But, yeah. In all seriousness, there really isn't anything to compare us with Serebii with since we're too totally different communities with totally different members (aside from the many who are members of both communities) and with a completely opposite side of staff.

I'm going to be sticking to PC for a while now. I don't care if SPPF get more posts, they are still very out of range

Everything about Serebii is just plain bleh...they need a major revamp in many ways.

Not to mention, at least on PC there are plenty of helpful, understanding individuals when it comes to battling, trading, team building, and what not. I posted a very standard team for an RMT on Serebii that got ripped to shreds to the point where they were like 'have you ever even battled before?' XD I was like...wow. Um, thanks for all that support.

PokeCommunity is just what it says: a Community. AND A SICK ONE AT THAT. =]

As a side note, we rose to number 350! (unless that's one of those 'changes quite quickly every day' ranking boards.)
