What do you think of the idea of guys owning, liking and training girly-like pokemon?

I mean do you even care about it, does it even matter, or is it simply just weird?
For instance, I'm a guy and I like Beautifly and Delcatty...is something wrong with that?

it hurts no one, so I can tell you right off there's nothing wrong with that, I have met people who desire pokemon in such a passionate and romantic way, it is quite a surprise, and to tell you the truth, I see no wrongs with that either, it's your choice, you decide whether it's all right with you or not^^

    Not at all.
Milotic is the pinnacle of "girly-like" Pokemon to me, because of it basically owning Beauty Contests by existing. [Admitted, that's a stereotype that beauty contests are for women].
Still, a lot of guys I know use Milotic because of how nice it is in battle.
I was always more of a Buterfree guy myself, and was a fan of Delcatty up until that Quartz hack where Delcatty's palletes were used to make what was supposed to be the ugliest Pokemon ever D=
    [Curse you irony...]

You and I talk a lot and you know that I train mostly feminine pokemon(but I can kick anyones but) so you know how I feel. Some just appreciate the beauty and grace certain pokemon give off and thats okay. It doesnt make you gay or anything if thats what you are asking.

It doesn't matter. That is sorta like stereotyping. (E.G. Guys are gay/weird because they wear pink.) Pfft no

    Well put HazaDivo.
I always liked making cute teams with deceitfully powerful attacks.
You know, Pikachu holding Light Ball with Volt Tackle kinda things?
    Kill 'em with cuteness man.

I'm so down for training beautiful pokemon in contests. A lot of people would consider my favorite pokemon to be a bit girl favored but since I like the shiny form...it's a bit different because green is a bit more manlier than pink. But yeah graceful, primly, beautiful pokemon tickle my fancy. I mean I have a plusle who I adore and she has the most ribbons out of all my pokemon so I don't really care about who likes it, as long as I'm cool with it. And Haza anyone who appreciates beauty and grace in pokemon is a friend of mine :D

    Nah, nothing wrong with that.

I've known that people classify Pokémon in many different ways, but I've never really been told a Pokémon was "girly." All that ever seemed to matter to my friends and me was if your team could beat the crap out of your adversaries. I remember back in the old-school days when people envied you because you had a Butterfree (even though it was easy enough to get anyway).

    And very well said, HazaDivo.

It's just got do with personal prefernce. I love Gardevoir because of her awesomeness, not for anything else. There's nothing wrong with liking a girly-like pokemon. It's like asking whther liking the pink is a problem (which it isn't) or if a girl liking boy-like pokemon is healthy? It's just personal preference.

I really don't think that would be wierd. That's the exact same thing as a female trainer owning macho Pokemon. It's not strange, it's just their preference.

Plus, ever since Jigglypuff came along, "Girl Power" was waaay overwritten.

There's no big deal. It's just like telling Gamefreak that "Black Belts are not manly because they train Meditite and Medicham which are feminine-looking." It doesn't make a different what you do. This reminds me of a guy at fanfiction a couple of weeks ago thinking he was pathetic and sappy for liking romance stories. I loled.

Anyway, it makes no difference at all what Pokemon you like. I like Magikarp, does that make me weak? Yes No, it doesn't. Just a coincidence I'm weak. :\

I love Gardevoir because of her awesomeness, not for anything else.
I have a male Gardevoir. >.< Gardevoir actually has 50/50 chance to be male!

There is nothing at all wrong with it!
If you like the Pokemon, you use it. End of story!
I myself have trained feminine Pokemon for in game and for competitive battling and I don't care. I like the Pokemon because of what it is, not because it is 'girly'.

If you're a dedicated trainer, no matter what kind of pokemon it is(male of female) you still use it. I own Cresselia, Latias, Frosslass, Gradevior and Mismagius(which is mostly feminine), any problems with that?

    No problems at all!
I think that anyone who trains a party of all masculine Pokemon simply because they are rough and tough are quite foolish..

I never really thought about it before. To tell you the truth, I just train pokemon that I like. And currently my three favriots are, in this order, Vulpix, Gardivour(?), and Mawille. And I think those could be considered "girly". So I say no, nothing wierd about that.
