Nope. just like when i used sudowoodo, rotom is not a legendary.

ANOTHER SHAMELESS EDIT: I just got slugma, but im not sure if its legal to use slugma... yet... Since he evolves into a rock type.
I'm pretty sure you can use Slugma until he evolves, as I used my Poliwhirl in my Fight challenge until I got a waterstone.

    The Sceptile King said:
may i change type to dragon

and use advanced starter to get my 1st pokemon

I believe Alakazam said no Dragon, Ice, Steel, Dark, and one other I believe. All pokemon need to be gotten legitly, and preferably before the third gym. There are no Dragon pokemon before the third gym in Kanto (Or Johto/Hoenn :p).

You can get a Dratini at the Game Corner before Whitney's gym, but you need a hell of a lot of coins. Also, I don't think you can get a Dragon before the 3rd gym in Sinnoh either. However, it says on the first post that Tamah-chan is doing a Dragon challenge, so it seems it must be allowed. Just impossible. ;)

    EDIT: From the first post:

    7. Due to their rarity in earlier generations, three types are discouraged from being used: Ghost, Dragon, and Ice. If you still want to use one of these types, you can ignore rule #3 and trade one of said-type into your game at the earliest point that you can do so.

    Wooters!

    I've finally beaten Yellow!

-After a little grinding, I decided it was time to challenge the pokemon league.
    -Flew through Victory Road easily.

-Then Came Lorelei, she was supposed to be the easiest of the League, not for me. She constantly blizzarded me, and got freeze hax every time. I decided to use statuses against her and put all of her pokemon to sleep using Venom and Chopper (Sleep Powder & Spore). This seemed to work and I quickly pulled the victory.

-Bruno, Bruno was a complete JOKE. I completely swept his team, OHKOing all of his pokemon with Fluttersby, my Butterfree. Nothing much to write about him.

-Agatha tried to annoy me, by substituing her Gengar. ALOT. But still, other than her 2 Gengars I OHKOed all of them.

-Lance... Well, I thought he'd be harder. Chopper definately proved it's worth here, oblitherating his team using Body Slam and Slash.

-Now for my Rival, Nub. As with all of my other battles with him, the only pokemon I had any trouble with was Flareon, which fire spins alot, annoyingly.

Woah, can't believe that's over. Time for my team!

    Venom (Venomoth)

    Level:
    58

    Moves:
    Psychic
    Psybeam
    Sleep Powder
    Leech Life

What can I say? One of the best on my team, tied with Chopper.

    Scissors (Scyther)

    Level:
    50

    Moves:
    Slash
    Swords Dance
    Cut
    Wing Attack

    ...Useless.

    Chopper (Parasect)

    Level:
    60

    Moves:
    Slash
    Spore
    Leech Life
    Body Slam

Amazing. Never underestimate what comes from a pathetic little mushroom thing.

    Fluttersby (Butterfree)

    Level:
    57

    Moves:
    Mega Drain
    Flash (Ew)
    Gust
    Psybeam

    Definately worth having.

    On to Johto then? :)

Ahh, Nevermind then whoever I said no to :p

    Thanks for the clarification Charma.

Not poison again though, it's a truly awful type.

    I resent that.

Well I finished the challenge, but it was fun, and its good motivation to play the earlier generations, so I may start it again with a different type. Also you can ignore my ice type challenge, I realized how boring that would be.

    Updates... Woo...

Had to replay half of my pearl to get Monferno again, as I forgot to save the first time.
Beat the Gym Leader, Went to route 207 and got a Machop.
Trained the Machop to level 18ish on my way to the next town.
Did all the story stuff that I don't remember xD
    ...
Anyways, right now, I just beat the Third Gym leader, thanks to Monferno (Who is now level 35). I've pretty much decided to scrap the Machop and not use another fighting pokemon until -Maybe- Rukario. All depends on whether I'm in the mood to train it.

They are supereffective against Grass, Ground, Flying, and most importantly, Dragon.
They are one of the most useful types, but i agree with it being boring, since there's few ice types.
And they are not weak against Psychic, where did you get that?!
Also, they are neutral against poison types, so they are indeed super against grass/poison. No offense, but i really think you should go back to trainer school, learn your basic types.
I believe that he was talking about Poison types, not Ice.

Update: Beat the water gym, caught a Croagunk, did some more story crap, and made it up to Celestia town.

Team right now is Infernape level 41, and Croagunk level 29ish.

Then I have an Onix, Buizel, Starly, and Bibarel's pre-evolution as HM slaves :p

Yeah, well if Poison types were so weak why are there so many Zubats around? :P

Thats why there is a challenge in choosing the Posion type, and dual types really help in this challenge.
