when I caught a Rattata in HG and the pokedex said this:
"Wherever food is available, it will settle down and produce offspring continuously."

Rattata is a sex addict. FACT.

Oh and when my lv 31 ampharos killed Ho-Oh 8 TIMES thanks to constant criticals!!!! I never get criticals until I don't want them.

I beat the Lv.50 Single Battle Challenge on my first try (I earned the Silver Print). "That was easy."

When Ho-Oh, with an estimated 1 HP, asleep, resisted a heavy ball.

I rage'd.

U don't use a heavy ball on ho-oh...it reduces it's catch rate by 20 ..that's right "-17"....there's no way u gonna catch something with a negative catch rate

EDIT: Never mind. He is right, negative catch rates do exist. I just checked Bulbapedia.

How to WTF

- RANDOMLY CATCH a favorite wild Pokemon with freakin' awesome IVs while in the company of another Pokemon fan - preferably someone who is playing Pokemon also - when it is really late at night

- CHIT CHAT about said capture

- CHIT CHAT about other Pokemon things

- REALIZE that it is getting really late

- SAY GOODNIGHT to company

- FEEL VERY PLEASED about the Pokemon you caught

- SHUT OFF DS while being pleased about the Pokemon you caught

Congratulations, you just lost yourself said Pokemon because you DIDN'T SAVE after catching it!

Lesson Learned: Pokemon catching is best done when the Trainer is more awake than asleep and when the Trainer is NOT distracted!

PS: I agree about the Dittos. I'm not even going to count how many Poke Balls I wasted on catching those.

Yesterday i was trying to catch Ho-oh, i only have 6 ultraballs, 6 pokeballs and 4 great balls. Well i do a few attempts and nothing so i think: "i need to buy more pokeballs" (btw i saved before enter of Ho-oh-battle); i turn off ds, turn on, use escape rope, buy 50 of all the pokeballs (pokeballs, greatballs and ultraballs), return to the tower, enter to battle with it and i throw a normal pokeball when it was full HP and guess what, Ho-oh was captured. WHAT!!! haha i don't know why this happen to me but this is the 4 time that happen; first was Mewtwo on FireRed, second with Moltres in Fire Red too, third was Dialga on Diamond and now Ho-oh on HG, this is my all-time wtf moment n_n

Heh, same thing.

I spent about 2 hours breeding and hatching and using my ultimate hatch 30 pokemon an hour routine trying to get a somewhat decent dratini with extremespeed and decent IV's.....i got one, it was pretty much perfect, but due to instinct i "released" the pokemon, threw a hissifit and tried again, 3 hours later, again i got it right....was so excited, but didn't notice the ds was out of batteries and blammo....it shut off........made me want to cry......

#2 finished the elitefour + lance using nothing but mamoswine (traded a heartscale for ancient power from a one i caught in dp) mamo was vl 40, he finished it being close to level 46....was like wow, good thing i taught it earthquake and ice shard/ice fang and used my only stone edge....

#3: that casino game is soooo addictive, tried stopping at 10k coins cause i wanted porygon, ended up staying up the night and getting close to 50k, can never get higher than level 9.....too much luck after 6 imo. But getting 1400+ coins is sooo fricken fun.

I've spent my past 4 days below Goldenrod trying to catch a Modest Abra with Synchronize, which I have one already but I'm using it's ability. I've found 7 of them and they had Inner Focus. FFFFFFFFF

Sorry if people already told you this, but try this: go to the Game Corner, get 200 Coins and save. Afterward pick the prize Abra and keep resetting until you get a Synchronize Abra with the desired nature.

Frankly I wouldn't ever think of it if a friend of mine didn't told me this. It's way faster than capturing or breeding a dozen Abras over and over.

I'm battaling Lugia and having a hard time capturing it. I get it down to almost 1 HP...I have a ton ultra balls left so im feeling confidet. I put my game down for a second to use the rest room. I return to find my sister holding my ds with a smile. she tells me she cought the "birdy" and saved the game for me. Over joyed I grab the DS to inspect my newly caught Legendary. As I'm reading its summary I notice something that makes my stomache drop.........

So i Use gengar i use that move that unables the pokemon to escaper,"Err" forgot the name of it. And i beat it up a bit, So i mean i get mew to red Hp and is about to die. Out of no where my dog rushes into my room jumps on me and my finger slipped on the Turn off button on my Ds Boy was i P'd Off. Never Saw Mew Again >.< Why is the world so cruel?

As WTF as that moment sounds, are you sure you're talking about Mew? Are you sure you're not talking about Latias/Latios or the Legendary Dogs? And the move you're talking about is Mean Look.

I swear, the game trolls me me when it makes everything live with sliver of HP especially when the other times, they just kill them.

This happened with Misty's Quasire once and her Lapras TWICE.

i neve thought it would work....
but it did XD my first legendary caught with a normal pokeball
its definitely worthy of a WTF but in a good way XD
