I know this isn't the forum for this, but I need to ask this.

What's the best B/W DS Emulator for a Windows XP computer? I know it's old, but I'll have a Win7 laptop next week(end?)

If I can figure out the best WinXP Emulator, I'll participate.

I highly reccomend no$gba. It will probably lag, but not as much as other emulators would. Just keep in mind that you're gonna have to use Action Replay codes to bypass the anti-piracy stuff and the no exp gain problem and what not. There are places where you can find one code that will do all of it.

I still need my 6 types please!

You don't really need a AR code to bypass the AP stuff. Some versions of the rom come prepatched. While No$ is a decent emulator, i'd recommend you get Desemume (Or however its spelt) since its vastly superior to no$ (which hasn't been updated in... 3 years I think) if you plan to use the W7 laptop.

Interesting combo for sure... but it has a few pokemon in it I've always wanted to use, and now I get the chance. I'm gonna have to hack in most of them though. Probably Braviary first.

I sen Dark Claw in first and used bubble. He kept using work up. I almost take lilipup down, potion. Next thing, bite. Dark Claw goes down. I send in Demolisher. Bite. Flich. Bite. Stomp. Bite. He's down. Spore goes in. Bite. He's down. Firestorm goes in. Bite, he goes down. Darthsting is up. Bite. He goes down. Shade goes in, bite, I lose.

He wiped out my entire team with LILIPUP! God, thats embarrasing.

So, after more training, time for 2nd round.

Dark Claw is up first. Lilput uses workup, again. Hell no. Vicegrip. Workup. Vicegrip. Workup. Vicegrip. Bite, flinch. Bite again, he's down.

Shade goes in. Hypnosis. Time to put down this puppy.

Switch to Demolisher. The puppy wakes up. Bite. Stomp. Chili uses a potion. Workup. Stomp. Bite. Demolisher is down.

Spore goes in. Bite. Vinewhip. Bite and Spore is down.

Firestorm goes in. Bite. Ember and thank god that damn puppy is down.

And out comes pansear. I send out darthsting hoping for a poisonin. Workup. Poison Sting. Incenerate, he's down.

And out comes Shade. Incenerate. Hypnosis (hah!) Spite. He wakes up, incenerate. Shades down.

Firestorm comes out. Incinerate, I lose. Again.

More training, and now its time to try again.

Shade is first up this time. Hypnosis. Switch to Demolisher... and the damn puppy woke up. Im not even going to mention what move he used, but you should be able to guess it yourself. Workup. Fury attack. Bite. Horn attack. Potion. Horn attack. Bite. Horn attack. Bite. Horn attack and that puppy is down. Thank god.

Out comes Pansear. I switch to Shade. Workup. Hypnosis. He evades. Workup. Hypnosis. He evades, again. Incinerate. Hypnosis. Switch to Dark Claw.

Bubble, its a cricital. He wakes up. Incinerate. Bubble. Repeat x3, I win.

MVP - Shade/Demolisher. Shades hypnosis proved extremely useful, as did Demolishers high hp/defence.
LVP - Shade. Even though Hypnosis was useful, he had no effective combat moves.

Got TM 83. Saved.

Met Fennel, got cut.
Went back to R1 to get a couple of items behind the cut tree.
Went to Dreamyards.
Defeated TP. Fennel came and got her haloucigens.
Trained.
Got the C-Gear and palpad.
Went through route 3, slaughtered Cheren with just Demolisher.
Graped Team Plasma... again. With Demolisher, who im planning to rename. Im thinking Grapist would be a good name for him.
Double battle agenst TP. Need I say what we did to them?
Cheren took kids pokemon back.
Got TM 46 from the cave.
Went back to R3. Got Heal Balls from the little girl.
Trained.
Saved.

Edit: this hack (Blaze Black) is awesome fun. I just beat Clay for my fifth badge and it was really tough. I started with Topegi->Togetic for the first gym, caught Growlithe and Shinx on Route 3, and finally got a Sneasel at the Cold Storage. As I got the Razor Claw there as well, everyone was evolved for the fight with Clay (Fireheart - Fire Stone at Castelia, Terry - Shiny Stone in Nimbasa, and Xavier - reached L30 in Castelia).

Fourth update.

• Got through Victory Road, everyone is L72-73ish.
• The Elite Four had some pretty good teams, and they were all Double battles. I didn't have too much trouble, though.
• N and Ghetsis weren't too difficult either - MegaMole in particular destroyed Ghetsis, killing every one of his pokes thanks to Swords Dance and Mold Breaker. Genesect was the only one to outspeed and hurt him.
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• After the credits rolled, I started my postgame journey through eastern Unova from Opelucid.
• On my way to Undella Town, I beat Cress and Cilan (rematches FTW) as well as Lenora and Burgh. Lost to Elesa, so I skipped her for now.
• I saved in Nimbasa right now and am going east from there next.
