    G&P Emblem Creation Competition

    Because we'll do anything for activity all up in here. Yo.

    Super cool introduction ------------------------
    Hey guys! Now let me say something right away, you don't need to be a talented graphic artist for this! It's all about your ideas and how c r e a t i v e you are! The competition is all about making an emblem for our favourite mix of artistic mediums; Graphics & Photography! Now in this competition, you will be attempting to create an emblem which your very gracious host shall request to be uploaded by our even more valiant higher staff members. This emblem that you create can relate to either graphics or it can also be photography related. Or even you're super innovative, it can relate to both Graphics and Photography and the section as a whole! The possibilities are endless. Now, let's get on to the nitty gritty information you must read before entering, because if you don't your work might go to waste!

    Super uncool but important rules ------------------------

    • Your entry must be your own design, but of course you are permitted to use images from the world wide web.
    • You must post an emblem icon which is 80px x 80px in size, coupled with a description and title of the emblem.
    • The emblem and its concept, idea and aim must all relate to the Graphics and Photography section.
    • Your entry must be posted within the allocated time limit and may be changed before the time limit is up.
    • One entry per person, but remember, you may change it after posting.
    What you can win and how it is chosen ------------------------

    The best thing about this competition is that I'm allowing up to 3 winners. To win, you must be creative and think of some clever designs. The winner(s) will then be chosen by me at the end of the time period. The time period will run until the 31st of October, and your entries must be finalized by then. Up to 3 people can win this, so it means that if your emblem is really clever and original you are definitely in with a chance to win this competition one way or another!

    The all important prize ------------------------

    If you are lucky enough to be chosen as a winner, below is your prize!

    And that's not all!

    You will also receive the honour of having your emblem, its title and its description uploaded to the site, and can be handed out to members who meet the criteria when posting in Graphics and Photography.

    Probably a question that benefits us all; is there any character limits for the title and description of the emblems so we know not if we are a little over?

    For reference, the longest emblem description is "A role reversal, that's the password, so come make a friend. it's topsy-turvy to give mercy to the guilty man. we love you faking, cause you make the effort to pretend. like a gladiator craves the blood of his spectators. those days i'd stumble in the dark, angels give me back my spot. the wrong girl trapped in the right place. i've had enough, i'd dust it off and wipe my blood on you." so I doubt you'll have character limit problems.

    And the longest titles I believe are "What could be inside? It will take a little time.." and "Shipping Debates Valentine's Banner Contest Winner", both 50 characters, so I bet that's the limit. It's also worth noting I think that html is acceptable in emblems if you want an extra flair.

    But this sounds fun, I plan to enter :3

    I wouldn't worry too much about character limits, if I like your idea, and you end up winning, there's a chance I'll be reviewing it somewhat so that your description and title is suitable before being uploaded anyway. So don't worry as I say.

    Looking forward to seeing what you guys can whip up!

    I guess I'll be the first to enter mine :P The image might change but the idea won't because I really feel like there should be more emblems relating to this in creative sections.

    Hmm, well I think it would be better to have different ideas, but if you think your interpretation of the idea is better then feel free to. I mean, it's up to you. Whatever you think is good enough to win I guess!

    You've done a good job moulding these young minds. You've taught some A grade students.

    It would be given to people who go out of there way to help other members and teach them techniques. Also for people who make a lot of tutorials and stuff.

    Just to people who start a few battles, and frequently enter battles set up by others. Thought it'd be nice to encourage more battles! :D

    You certainly are one to change your style to meet current themes and trends. And you're not bad at it either.

    Lots of people did MLP stuff when it came to PC, so this is what I'm basing this off.
