Honestly the Johto starters seem to be the most underrated when it come to being depicted in advertisements in recent times...sometimes it feel like GF forgets about them in favor of Torchic,Mudkip, Piplup, Chimchar, Snivy, Oshawott, the Kanto starters plus Pikachu...

Hopefully their Megas will earn them some attention for the first time since the end of Gen 4. I hope MegaMeganium is part Fairy. Imagine if MegaSceptile is indeed part Dragon...they could be depicted as rivals...

Thats a great idea! Not only would it make a great design, but it would give Meganium the boost it needs. While were at it, maybe a water/dark mega feraligatr? I think that would be pretty cool, it would give it some weaknesses (To both of the possible Mega meganium's types), but i think it could turn Feraligatr into a high tier physical sweeper

I'd rather it to become a Hit and Run, Fire-Rock type Pokemon, since we don't have Speedy Rock types. It's Atk stat should be increased as well.

Almost all fire starters have fighting as their secondary type, so, to be honest, I wouldn't like Typhlosion to be fighting-type at all. Typhlosion would make a good ground-type though, since it does look kind of like a mole. This would make Typhlosion four-times weak to water, but it would make it completely immune to electric. I would like Mega Typhlosion's ability to be Speed Boost, if possible. Flash Fire could work, too. (: And as far as its stats go, I would want to see its Attack stat sacrificed a little to increase its Special Attack. It'd also be nice if it had its Speed raised a bit.

I don't see it being part Rock...Ground would fit better with it's looks imo.

I want Typhlosion to be fast too, it looks like it would be fast...but it isn't...

Psst! It's a Volcano Pokémon! It's either part Rock or Ground, when it gains Mega.

Yup it is. Now Fire/Ground will be weak only against Ground and Water...so it's a good type combo :3 Now if it's fast it can be a sweeper...

Ok im gonna suggest something a little out of left field, how about fire/water? I think a steam based Typhlosion design would look great. Plus there is no Fire/water type yet

Feraligatr would not be amused with Mega Typhlosion, if he's a Fire/Water. :(
But they can make him learn Scald like Emboar.

Yeah...they proably have to make MegaFeraligatr Water/Grass and MegaMeganium Grass/Fire to make up for it if they did that xD...
Speaking of Grass/Fire...Sunflora should get a MegaEvolution and become Grass/Fire.

I agree, they either have to pump up those defensive stats like a tank or make her run faster than she's supposed to.

I want a Mega Empoleon, I wonder how regal and royal he will look like. :D

Mega Empoleon would most likely have an extended horn. Its eyes would probably be a little bigger, its arms may be a little wider (allowing it to execute the move "Fly"), and its claws would be more sharper. In terms of color, I could imagine it to be a bit more darker than its current body color. I'm not sure if all of this would make it look too royal, though. xD It would just end up making it look more like a wild beast.

I want MegaEmpoleon to have platinum instead of gold on it's body as a reference to Platinum, plus Pt is more expensive and rarer. I also see it being taller and with gold and silver claws on it's talons.

Honestly I like the idea of some three-stage pokemon having "Mega" formes; but I don't really consider these evolutions at all. Since they are not permanent. However they are forcing certain pokemon such as Lucario, to completely lack the possibilty for an extended evolutionary line (since it already has a pre-evolution). I think the concept of mega evolutions is cool, but in practice it takes away some of the fundementals of pokemon and basically says "yeah we are done with this pokemon's evolutionary line". The only thing I really like mega evolutions for is starters, and legendary pokemon (and the potential for three stage pokemon such as maybe with mega ampharos). But I wish that mega absol was just a new pokemon all together (same with mega mawile and the rest).

Well...they could always give them a pre-evolution...so their lines may not be finished yet.

I wonder if Evolite will work on Pokémon with access to MegaEvolution...seeing how technically they can evolve further (to the MegaEvolution)...

Hoping not, as I see the Mega Evolutions as more of a ' temporary form change' than a true evolution. It would also make many Pokemon that are fully evolved into their 2nd evolution such as the starters way overpowered with it.

I wonder if any other mascots besides the Kanto starters who also double up as starters will get Mega Evolutions...would be nice to see MegaSuicune tbh. It's not Uber either like Mewtwo when it comes to legendaries plus it's got a lower bst.

Personally i'm against mega legendarys. There are a lot more low tier, stage 3 pokemon that would really benefit from a mega evo, rather than uber tier pokemon that are already overpowered. Plus it just seems to take away from the idea of being "legendary"
