Just level up him a lot, there is a notepad file in the OP that show you at which level he will evo

My Poliwhirl is at level 45 at the moment, whereas the evolution guide said that it evolved to politoed at level 43, I've levelled it up normally and it hasn't tried to evolve yet. How do you evolve it? :s

I must have made a mistake when I added this. It seems as though I forgot to change the way that Poliwhirl evolves into Politoed. This means that he still evolves by trading with a kings rock and that you won't be able to get him, sorry about that.
There is one final battle that can be found if you head in a Northerly direction from the Northern Dugout.

I did plan on updating the game. Unfortunately I did get a new computer recently and this computer has some difficulty running some of these programs. The updates that I did plan on doing were small for the most part. So I am not sure when I will be doing an update for it. So I just recommend playing the game as it is :).

Unfortunately I didn't keep track of the places that I have added certain items within this game. However, there is a chance that you can find one in Kingstone City. Hopefully you can find one.

How can I grind for the final battle, he is strong :(

Your best bets would be in Victory Road or in Trophy Garden (which is behind the E4). This character is supposed to be difficult because he is supposed to be the equivalent on Red in the Johto region. Alternatively you can go hunting for the legendary Pokemon that are found around the region (you can still do this afterwards anyway).
Either way, good luck in your final battle. Also to anyone who is concerned by the power of Freddy's Magby it has the stats of a Magmortar for HP, Attack, Defence, Special Attack & Special Defence. However, it has the speed stat of a Magmar. Just in case anyone was wondering.

Most of the sprites that I have used were the ones that were made by ChaosRush. I understand where you are coming from and there are some sprites that aren't the best in my opinion either. But the way I then look at it is that we are lucky that there are people out there that have gone to some effort making these sprites for 3rd gen hacks so that rom hackers can use them to create their games. :)

In this game Snorunt evolves by Moon Stone rather then by Dawn Stone into a Frosslass.
And Emboar not learning any fighting types moves over than Arm Thrust was a mistake on my part, but I have seen several people use Emboar to great success in this game regardless, so hopefully it's not too big a problem.
I was thinking about updating this hack but I got a new computer and would have had to play around by getting programs again and it was messy at the time, it may still happen but it is unlikely.
