I'm obsessed with not overlevelling. It's almost a handicap. I often end up temporarily boxing 'mons that are too high.
And if I notice a Pokémon I'm using is overpowered and instakills everything with no effort, I grow bored of it and stop using it. Coughmegablaziken. I'd imagine I'm in the minority here, though.
Getting exp from captures is fine. The whole team getting exp from the Exp. Share is fine.
But who in their right mind would decide to let Pokémon not in the battle each receive 50%? Overall, you get 350% of what you'd usually get. I thought it was exp sharing, not exp pulling-out-of-nowhere. :(
