It's a shame people don't seem to really wanna vote for the retype challenge. We've got a lot of contestants, but it seems to be that there are more of those then people who vote. :/

We still have five more days. If we can get a link to the voting page onto the notice board we'd get more voters OR we can stick the link in our subs and go on a guerilla ad campaign by posting on the ROM hacking boards.

I've actually been experimenting with SAI a bit lately and I'm not use to painting with it so I'm still getting the hang of it. Photoshop would always be my go-to though.

SAI definitely my preference for digital art, but I'd prefer to do any editing of the picture/ filters and what not on Photoshop. Same with any graphics/ tags of that sort.

GIMP I pretty much don't use anymore. It was merely a stepping stone for me to learn how to make tags with Photoshop.

I use paint for everything. It's good enough if you just make fakemon. I get confused by other programs, but I should maybe start looking into them.

Even now, regardless of any other program I get, I must have a copy of Paint as well. Old-style Paint, too, it can't be any of the newer versions; this is because I still find that to be one of the best programs possible when dealing with making pixel art, or at least sprites. I don't like coloring in it, I can deal with it if I have to though, but it's just so good for making the initial outlines. :')

There was that one time I tried to get back into Pixel Art and pretty much died on the inside when new paint came about. I barely ever pixel art things now days, but I still keep old-paint in the laptop somewhere just in case I want to make a pixel game sometime in the future and want to have another go at it.

I prefer SAI for digital art, Photoshop for graphics and the XP version of Paint for sprites. I got so used to using one program more than the other that I can't make other things in that program haha. Plus all my settings are in respective programs so...

Then again, I haven't touched my pen tablet since last year or so. Like, this is the last thing that I've drawn digitally hahaha. And it's dated 22nd of April 2014 on my tumblr lol.

Also unrelated but don't confuse me with Nina 'cause our themes are similar haha

Last proper thing I've actually done is this. The last few months has been pure sketching, concepts and modelling so been pretty lacking.

I've only done one digital drawing so far. It's part of a contest, so I'll post it when that's over :P You can have a guess and look through the Pokémon retype challenge ;)

i've only done a few drawings for class in illustrator. i prefer doing graphics in photoshop than drawing in illustrator.

Anyway, hey there, people. Been a while since I posted here. :D Once my exams are over in this coming week, I plan to make a proper comeback to this forum and pokecommunity as a whole. Returning peeps, new peeps, A&D is coming back to life again. Speaking of which I really need to get mine in order and actually do stuff haha. I'm probs going to close my shop soon, so I can work on different stuff, improve, get some proper C&C and come back when I have more time/skill and so on. Will still be posting stuff into a gallery though. Hopefully that will also give me the time I need to actually get my events here planned and going.

post a gallery! i love looking at people's artwork and getting inspiration to make artwork. i havent been able to work on anything, but i should seriously make something icons at least to post to my gallery!

Alrighty then guys! This weekend (hopefully) I will be getting a contest up and running! That way June has its own contest, and hopefully every month after there will be something going on here in A&D. I promise I'm going to work really hard to give my all to this forum.
