It would be interesting to see the "Third Legendary" (i.e. Rayquaza, Girantina, Kyurem etc.) be some sort of opposite of Zygrade, thus furthering a possible Kalos tie in (Even though there's already loads of speculation it most likely will be). The "Third Legendary" can be a Poison type, and possibly be some sort of "Environment Pollution" legendary.

I couldn't help but notice that TPC still seems to be hyping on Zygarde in general; most recently that I've noticed is in the TCG. So far the Japanese account has tweeted the individual cards for Zygarde Core, 10%, and now 50%. I think they tweeted Complete Forme earlier, but I can't swear to it.

I know many people would like to see another female professor...

but what I'd like even more than that is a female villain team leader. I think that would be really cool to see.

I'd like to see a male champion this time, since the most recent male champion we've had is Alder and he was bit...eh.
eh? really? sure he wasn't as serious looking as the rest of them, but he was better off that way. he's a free spirit, not bound by anything.
he's also the only champion known to flirt with another champion across any of the media

he's also the only champion known to have offspring.

alders design is obviously biased on the Yamabushi, Shugendō mountain mythics.
in contrast to the rest of the male champions, hes obviously meant to be different from them.
tbh though, i'd rather the next champion be female due to the current gender ratio 6males:3 females.
i honestly wouldn't be surprised if Caitlin becomes the next champion. she did become an E4 member quite quickly considering she wasn't even allowed to compete in pokemon battles due to her psychic powers being uncontrollable(hence the reason her butler was the frontier brain in her steed in the 4th gen games)

There's going to be a Zygarde forme event in Pokemon Shuffle tomorrow, too.

Based on that I don't think it will need an opposite, they've got the king ready to use. Up until September, nobody cared about Zygarde. Given no game has really cared about Zygarde yet, I really hope that they don't just skip over it (and give it an opposite) and instead utilise the following it is building currently.

While I would agree that we should see more female champions. They don't all need to come one after the other. (as a side note I think a gender neutral champion could also be interesting...although probably pretty unlikely)

and as I said, having a female champion isn't the only way to see more female representation. You've also got the professor and team leader to consider.

Also, a lot of what I don't like about Alder probably has to do with how he was initially presented. In that he was pretty much shoved aside in favour of battling N. For that reason I don't find him to be a very memorable champion. He's a bit awkward.

[I felt like Alder was one of the worse treated champions, which is a shame because I loved Unova as a region even if not all the characters got the development I was pleased with. If Unova managed to finally give us a female professor, maybe the 7th Gen region will finally give us our first female boss of the villain team.

Thing is having a counter to Zygrade as the Third would easily tie in Zygrade to the new games as well as it's other formes. It could be the "Delta Episode" of the new games. They could easily then allow us to visit Kalos or new areas that are affiliated with Kalos if they take a route like this. They very well could just throw in a Zygrade-Kalos tie in without the use of a counterpart third, but it would bring more of a tie in with the regions if it were so.

what if the next champion and the e4 members will be leading the evil team? a gym leader being the head of of an evil team is one thing, but a champion & the e4?
hell if the champions a female, they could make it so she appears as a male when leading the evil team with each of the e4 members looking like someone else completely or something else. still not completely convinced that talking murkrow team rocket had in their mahogany town hq was even a pokemon

also, i wouldn't count the sevii island out just yet. they did foreshadow something that happened in hgss, but not in gsc. namely, in the rocket warehouse on 5 island a scientist stated that Giovanni's son had red hair, which foreshadowed the fateful encounter celebi event in hgss.
hgss where released 6 years after frlg
the celebi was released a year after hgss's release & after 5th gen was announced. it even gave you a zoura in bw.
also theres unused data for the sevii islands in frlgs code.

This actually gives me an idea for a post-game. Instead of two regions (which I would still prefer over this idea), what if it's two stories? So the first playthrough has a set of Gym Leaders and E4 along with the evil team, but it's revealed that several members of the Pokemon League are in cahoots with the evil team or even lead them (I like the idea of the Champion being the Leader. Hell, they could even use a different team altogether to throw suspicion off of their tail). After becoming champion and foiling the team, there's a roster change in the Pokemon League and we go through it again to face rematch the old non-villain Gym Leaders/E4 along with the new ones (Rival could be the new champion or a leader. Another rival as a Leader since we're likely to get more than one; a new character or two related to the previous Gym Leader; an NPC we've seen once or twice that could take the new spot). You could even add in a new side story to rematch the old Leaders/Champion as they try to rebuild their team. Throw in Looker as he works to arrest them and bam! Post-Game.

Interesting story! It be cool to see an evil champion but it probably won't happen. I do want them to bring looker in and explain what happened to him in ORAS. This could lead to an interesting story that I look forward to seeing, as I'm positive they will address the leftover plots from XY and ORAS.

I do think you have a good theory there, but I probably think it could take place at the same time as B2/W2 and X/Y or after then.
I think it's best that they reset the timeline back to Gen I or simply continue on OrAs'. Restarting it in Gen VI with OrAs was a mistake, they should've made XY take place during Gen I/III too, instead of B2W2.

I just remembered the Strange Souvenir that you get from a backpacker in X/Y. Assuming there'll be a way to transfer items from Gen 6 to Gen 7, do you think it'll have some use in Sun/Moon? The in game description says "An ornament depicting a Pokémon that is venerated as a protector in some region far from Kalos." so maybe it will allow you to obtain a rare Pokemon.

Like the description says, it's an ornament. It's a trinket, not a legendary item.

well, the dark/light stones ended up in a museum of all places with the owners of said museum being blissfully unaware that it was a legendary pokemon. it wouldn't be that odd if a forgotten legendary artifact managed to wind up in a bazaar with the merchant not knowing of what it is.
theres a lot of people end up with old, valuable stuff not knowing anything about it what its worth outside of second hand knowledge from previous owners and blissfully unaware of its true value. the item description on it is most likely the description given to it by the hiker you got it from.
hell for all we know that hiker was this guy

There are 6 region but only 5 of them has its own regional E4 and Champion.
which mean there are only "5 Active Champion".
Among them , 2 of them are male and 3 of them are female-

    Kento/Jotho : Lance
    Hoenn : Wallace
    Sinnoh : Cythia
    Unova : Iris
    Kalos : Diantha

So , I don't want anymore Active female Champion ! I think we should have a male Teenage champion this time.

    There are 6 region
kanto, johto, hoenn, orre, fiore, sinnoh, almia, oblivia, unova, & kalos
although 4 of these don't have champions due to the size of 3 of them & the harsh landscape of the third. their still regions that are canon
additionally, orre's landscape isn't the only harsh aspect. area 10 of mt battle is by all means harsher then taking on the e4. each of the trainers in that area are made to be able to take on e4 members 1-1 & have an edge over them. orre may not have gyms or an e4, but the colluseums put the gym leaders to shame & mt battle puts the e4 & victory road to shame

but only 5 of them has its own regional E4 and Champion.

wallace was only a champion in emerald. i still think that emerald, yellow & crystal run on a 3ed separate timeline.
besides, by the timeline nintendos currently using steven is still hoenn's champion
cynthia may be champion, but she sure as hell ain't active in her own region half the time.
the champions are considered champions until their beaten in an official match after the challenger beats the e4 under the champion.
also, cynthia is the only one known to remain known as a champion after the events of the games she's in. lance was the johto champion, not the kanto one. its stated by blue not only that red was still the kanto champion, but also that the player character was the johto champion.champions are known to leave the square rooms that lay right before the halls of fame.
hell, cynthia can show up anywhere from transitional ruins to a small ice cream stand in unvova
