I recently made a 3d printed replica of a Poké Ball that includes working lights and motion effects as well as a rumble motor that vibrates the ball to simulate the motion of a Pokémon trying to break-out. Just wondering what you folks thing?

Check out the Instructable for more info, including step-by-step instructions on how to build it:

If I throw it at someone, can I capture them?

The problem with 3-D prints are the shapes. If the ball were hand-crafted, it would probably be more circular. But you did a great job nonetheless.

That thing is ridiculous! There's so many parts to it, it's really amazing. It looks like it would feel like holding a real pokeball, which is great!
