What's the difference between shiny Elekid and non-shiny Elekid?

They look exactly the same from the Crystal animations I saw! D:

Shiny Elekid is darker. If you check its status page, there will be 3 little stars in the top right corner.
Throw and scramble it in a battle to see if it's shiny. D:
