I guess, maybe I could work on one, the problem is progress would be slow. Very slow. And like I said, it's my whole perception of hacks that's the problem, I don't look through hacks thinking "Oooh I'd like to play that", because I'm 97% sure it'll never be released as a BETA, and I'm about 99.9999999999999% sure, it'll never be finished. I'm one of very few people to say it, I'm not having a go like others do, I'm just stating the truth. And I look at my own hacks in the same way, it's not worth starting because I know I'l never finish. And that's not a good attitude for a ROM Hacker, not one I'd want to set as an example. The truth is, I've simply outgrown for it, the draw of Pokémon dwindled a long time ago. There is simply no motivation for me to make a hack, and I'd rather use my time to learn more complicated things, which can help me in life. The pride in ROM Hacking annoys me now, the true ROM Hackers are the tool makers, they are the ones who do the complicated work. Like Lu-Ho anad the sorts of the helmeted rodent, Hack-Mew. Then the ASM Hackers. They are the true hackers people should look up to. Or the people who managed stuff "before its time", MasterMew and Firemaster. Or the ones with the determination, like Zel and Baro.
I don't want false pride and false glory, not by using other peoples work in the form of all of these tools. Now any one can ROM Hack - it's nothing special. And that's why ROM Hacking is not the area for me anymore.
