I don't know... I personally have noticed this too but I think their ok. It's probably because of the fact that the firered pokemon were so cool that it made everything else seem bad.

I love Goudon. It's a cool pokemon in general and learns some good moves.

I like Umbreon the most. The shiny Umbreon is so cool. I like it's special defense. I wish it learned better moves though.

Well that's pretty good. For your Espeon I would suggest something like Toxic or Calm Mind. I don't have many suggestions for this team. It's very good. Last thing. I would put a stronger electric move on my Electebuzz then Thunderpunch. Something like Thunder..Good team though.

That's an ok team. If I would change anything I would change your Togakiss ( I don't like them very much) into a physical or special wall and a stall pokemon. Something like Vapeoreon or Umbreon with recover or wish and toxic.

A brave nature Spiritomb is an ok way to go. Spiritombs aren't very fast in the first place but they do learn a lot of physical AND special moves. It all depends on what you want to use it for. Like for a sweeper then maybe brave or mild is ok or jolly for a physical sweeper. It all depends on...

I think it depends on my starter or what team I want to set up. For example, my most recent play of Emerald I had a team set up prior to starting the game and a started was not in need. My team ended up being a sandstorm sunny day team. Shiftry, Flygon, Wishcash, Haryiahma, Sandslash and Camerupt.

I like Milotic's more. I think their special defense and their move pool is just better all around then Gyarados. I due however like Gyarados's water-flying duel type and it's high attack. I think they are too common though and I like Milotic's ability. So my vote is Milotic.
