I have a question regarding to this post. I don't understand what I have to put in the XX part.
For example, if I want to have the text speed preset to Fast and the frame to be 0, it would be (2+0)*8 = 10 (in hex), is that correct? I believe it isn't because it doesn't work correctly...
The size is 16x32 with 3 frames.
When I look at 03f1c54 I get this, but I have no idea what to with it.

Couldn't it be done to make the follower jump two steps to catch the player? I think it's done like that in HGSS.
Also, for biking and surfing the follower disappears in the official games.

I've managed to display correctly the tilemap with the help of Spherical Ice but I could only get it to work in 16 colours.
What should I do to be able to display it in 256 colours?
EDIT: Is there a way to display two tilemaps one after the other? Just duplicating the script with a new value...

The only thing is that it doesn't load the palette completely, it only loads the first 16 colours. How can I have it in 256 colours?

It's obvious I have done something wrong with the raw or the tileset, so my question is: when you are creating the Raw file of the tilemap in NTME which size do you have to set it to be?

The only point I could have done something wrong that I can think of is in inserting the raw, the tiles and palette. I've never been too good in graphics so I might have done something wrong.
But I also tried with other graphics that are inside the rom and that i didn't touch...
