If you mean the background yes though it changes the tile full color reduced to 15 colors turn into one big mass of the last color

here by me that pallet never works when i insert the tile into tileset1 with pallet 7 it only corrupt the tiles and make them entirely blue so i never use it again to don't make mistakes again:)

No it just turn the tile to a random color which would be the vary last color in the pallet

Um it quite simple sometimes when I index a tile then I save the act through character maker pro 1999 it works alright then sometimes in advance map when I reinsert the tile with the pals reduced to 16 colors it shows the very last pal as the whole tile pal.

I think it's quite funny that you mention character maker pro 1999 because it what kept failing me in the first place so I'm far behind from using any Spanish programs even though I understand them well
