So I had made a custom world map in Emerald, repointed all the locations on the map, etc. The problem is, ONLY when checking the locations of Pokemon in the Pokedex, the map reverts back to its original design. The Pokemon seem to all appear in the correct locations, as though the custom map...

How can I change the default names of the rivals in Emerald? After a while, the names May and Brendan get stale.

Oh, all it took was removing the line "special 0x91" from Wattson's code. Now I hope that won't mess anything up.

I've been hacking Mauville City Pokémon Emerald, when I encountered a problem with Wattson's gym. I removed the switches and the electricity puzzle from it in exchange for an unrelated puzzle, yet as soon as Wattson hands me TM34, the yellow tiles from the original gym replace certain new tiles...
