I think you should create "triping" and "falling" sprites and show the entire falling animation (make sure the camera doesn't move so that he can fall offscreen). The "flashes of supposedly falling despite the protagonist standing up as he does so" thing doesn't really work all that well...

Human error and not reading the instructions are the things that brick PSPs. You never need to fear bricking from updating or downgrading firmwares if you follow the instructions.

After playing Colosseum and XD for GameCube the recycled story of the Pokemon series just didn't cut it for me anymore. I find it great that there are hacks out there that are willing to bring original ideas to the table.

I love a hack with a good original story.
Any hack whose story isn't "Defeat Team X and Rival Y while fighting Gym Leaders in order to take on the Pokemon League" is good in my opinion.
