  • yep...especially the movie coming out next year...did you see the trailer for it?.....check out LIVEWIRE's thread
I was actually hoping you would run it. x3

And you know me. I hate fighting. x3 But I'd figure something out.
It's set about five years into the future. Mordacai won, and here's why. Jake was captured and forced to tell them about Silver. While John and Israel were battling Tidus, and each other, Mordacai was able to rise, unopposed. By the time the others finished it was too late. Team Plasma had won. They outlawwed pokemon training and did a lot of other stuff, that made people turn toward them. John and Israel mysteriously vanished, of course. What happened to them I haven't thought of. But the story would start with a few new heroes beginning their journey to liberate the world. Of course, our minor NPCs like Seven and Yasumi if she is still alive would appear from time to time.
It would have to be situational. For me, I can't get on a cruise cause I have no free time. My new ob is new, so I can't request time off yet.
Wow, I actually didn't think of it that way!..brilliant!

At least that would have been a better reason for that mask he wears!
I also read that the dude that plays bane has alot of tatoos on his arms...and that they used CGI to remove them....well, if they are able to do that, then they could easily go with your idea and use CGI to increase his muscle mass!

Also love the Harley Quinn idea...thats the same story from Arkham city...although maybe in the fans minds, she isn't perceived as a big enough villain for the final movie?
I think Nolan's choice had alot more to do with publicity and money than with good storytelling.

Bane became hugely popular because of the "knightfall" storyline in the comics....I mean he was the ONLY villain to really beat batman and truely break him.....that storyline in the comics is what really boosted Batman's popularity...and Nolan chose Bane as his villain to capitalize on that.

I can still remember the endless chats I saw on the internet and amongst friends etc, about whether Nolan would include the knightfall storyline...about whether he would let bane break Batman's back.....it created a HUGE buzz before the movie and I think that was the point.....He couldn't just rely on Joker...and he knew that Bane wouldn't draw people on his own...so he used the storyline to draw people in.

The Knightfall storyline with Batman is on the same level as the "Doomsday" storyline with superman...It was created for shock value...because we are soo used to seeing them win...what if they lost? died? or got crippled for life?.....Excellent marketting choice...poor story choice
