"Hah! You underestimate my Tempest! Fly through that thing, and use Gust to blow it back at his smug face!" John said. Tempest had no way of dodging the ice storm. So she flew right through the Blizzard, taking some damage, though not as much as she would have had she panicked like most flying types in a blizzard. She reached clear skies above, and whipped up some serious wind, and blew the ice storm right down to the Marshtomp. That would hurt!
Marshtomp easily avoided the attack. "Word of advice about Marshtomps, they have a vibration sensing radar on their heads, as soon as you move it will know the direction that you're headed, this move is called Detect, you'll never hit me with a physical move, so why don't you try again, oh wait I won't let you, Marshtomp use blizzard." A snowstotm came from the mouth of the Marshtomp. "This is it for your stupid pigeotto."

(A storm is here and I probably have to get off of the computer so if I don't respond I might have to finish this later.)
They seem to be showing up on mine too, so it's no big deal.

"Hah! You'll regret that! I intend to make this quick!" John said. Hmm... A water/ground type huh? Well, that would be tough, but John had to knock it out before Cinder went out. Cinder was a fire type, and thus would be hurt even more from it. So... What to do? Flying type attacks wouldn't get the job done, so that left:
"Tempest! Steel Wing! Then get some altitude!" John yelled. Tempest made her wing glow silver and flew toward the Marshtomp, fully intending to climbe to the skie where she couldn't be touched as soon as she hit, or missed, either one would work. John had to assume that this Marshtomp knew some kind of ice attack, or his opponent would have saved it for Cinder.
Victory was nailed by the ice beam and completely frozen solid, Israel looked at his pokedex to see that his pokemon had no HP left so he recalled his prized Braviary. "Wow double KO" said Israel suprised that this punk could faint his pokemon. "Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha" Israel laughed "Wow and here I thought that you were just some punk kid who ran his mouth too much." Israel threw a pokeball into the air and out of it emerged a Marshtomp. "Go ahead just for that I'll let you make the first move." Said Israel.
There was no time to dodge it. Aquanis dropped one shell, and grasped the other in both paws, blocking the attack. The shell took most of the hit, but some of it got through. When the smoke cleared, little Aquanis was still standing. He was huffing and puffing, but he was still up.
"Unbelievable!" John said in amazement. He had no idea where the Dewott got that toughness from.
"Ice Beam! He won't be able to move after an attack like that!" John said, proud of his pokemon. Aquanis blasted one last Ice Beam at the bird, then fell over. He had been running on vapors after that gigantic hit, but after launching a counter attack of his own, he had simply run out of steam. John returned him with a smile and a soft 'good job' before sending out Tempest. If that bloody bird somehow dodged the attack, or simply survived it, then Tempest would show him the true power of the flying type pokemon!
I know that. I wasn't suggesting it. John will take a fair loss, and he will be livid about it. Or sulky. I'm not sure which one yet.

Aquanis could not get out of the way, or block it in time. He took the hit and stood firm.
"Chump? We'll just see about that! Aquanis, get up on that ugly birds back and use Night Slash!" John said. Aquanis leapt up and landed on the back of the bird and pulled out his twin shells. They began glowing with dark energy, and he swung them at the bird's head.
"You'll have to do a lot better than that if you hope to win!" John taunted. This was a great battle! He never felt more alive than when he was battling! Even when he lost, he loved the experience. Not the loss, mind you, but the knowledge gained from it.
I assumed that this was a three on three match, I really don't want my character to look like he won by just dumb luck, like him being lucky that John only has three pokemon. I like your idea but I don't want my guy to look weak.

Braviary's reflexes were good but it could not get out of the way of the Ice beam in time, luckily or unluckily it only hit the wing. Braviay's wing was now frozen solid. "Well I guess this put a dampener on flying attacks but I guess its good that it didn't hit a very damaging spot" Israel thought. "Hey chump you may think that a bird that can't fly is useless but you've got another thing coming " Israel said. "Victory use shadow claw!" Israel ordered. The Bird's claws became surrounded by a shadowy substance and it slashed a the Dewott.
Hmm... How to proceed. I know! Also, it makes sense you would emerge the victor right now. Israel has 4 pokemon, and John has three. And they are all about the same level. So, it comes down to numbers. You can probably outlast my pokemon with your four, no matter how well John battles.

John had figured this would happen. A shield formed around the bird and blocked the Ice Beam. It then flew high into the sky.
"Don't move, don't flinch. Just do as I say," John muttered so the Dewott could hear him. John was scanning the skies for the bird. He spotted it. It was coming down fast.

"Take a step to the left, duck, and use Ice Beam to the right. Now," he said. Aquanis did as he was asked, and the bird flew right past him. He fired an Ice Beam at the bird as it flew by. It may or may not hit. But it would happen so fast that the bird would not have time to react. It came down to whether Aquanis could hit the bird while it was moving that fast.
Well, John will learn you're out to get him as soon as the battle ends, will he not. Also, we are very violent with our characters! My gosh! I'll start this off.

John was shoved to the ground and pummeled. He fought back, kicking, punching, biting and scratching. He knew he tasted blood, though he didn't know if it was his own or Israel's Probably both. All too soon, before John could knock him off and jump on him, Israel was gone. John stood up and was faced with a Braviary. He was angry, but he held of and sent out Aquanis, the Dewott.

"Aquanis! Ice Beam now!" John said calmly. Aquanis knew that this battle was more important than any before now and was going to do his best. He blasted the frigid blue beam at the Braviary. John's mind was working on overdrive. Something told him that this would be his hardest opponent yet. He wasn't about to lose this fight!
Well, your last post pretty much made sure of that. Also, one thing I would like to point out. From John's point of view, it wouldn't matter who won. Yasumi is supposed to capture him anyway, right? So, it makes no difference except for the characters egos, which John has a rather large one. That being said, if you still want to win, I'm game for that. Though, the battle hasn't started yet. You kind of need to post what Israel will do to John exploding like that. In short, you get this win, and I'll take the win next time. Sound good to you? And I'll gladly post the battle when we're done.
As far as who will win, I'd like for John to win, but who doesn't want to see his character win. Either way is fine for me. If I am going to lose, though, I'm taking most of your team out too. As far as finding out that Israel is a part of the HA, that will also be solved if John loses. He would be captured, of course, unless the 'heroes' decide to step in and save him.

Also, we could either do the battle on the topic with several posts of back and forth, or we could do what Kiyoshi and I did, which was do the back and forth with our VMs and post the whole thing in one large post. Either way is good with me.

If you want to win, that's fine, as I said. But we'll have to see how Silver and Kitten react to it before I can think about an escape.
Hi Aspie, I was wondering but would an Absol be classed as a legendary? I asked my friend 'bout it and wer go in this full blowen argument 'bout it so I decided to ask you since your the GM :3
Also, how will we go about catching wild pokemon? Will they be at a certain level, or do we make them the average level of our party or what? Also, who decides if our capture is successful?
