  • Hi there sorry, I sometimes take a little while to check my messages since I get busy! Do you still need me to change this?
    Cool, can't wait. As long as you take note of the issues of the past, and use it to make the next project better, that is how development works.

    Also find out how to script legendaries correctly as trust me, they were completely broken.
    For further reference I even gave some very clear examples of these:

    1. Day Night Pallettes mess up when you go towards a warp that spawns an arrow. Really off putting.
    2. You CAN infinite respawn all Legendaries (except Giratina surprisingly) by saving in front of them, resetting and talking to them again.
    3. The music is... Really weird, the instruments have all changed and messed up nearly all the songs.
    4. Some NPCs do nothing. Clair and Rocket Leader mentioned but also quite a few others.
    5. Tile mistakes in maps. I can go over these in more detail if you want but... The last few maps seems hastily made and have incorrect movement permissions. Whilr Islands is just completely broken because of this.
    6. The move menu gets glitchy if you try to get info on the moves.
    7. What the heck are the type charts for Crystal, Light and Mist? (Unclear)
    8. I beat the game but somehow the Drought event restarted so I got the music. I don't even.
    9. Some warps just flat out don't work. Kyurem's room for example, I can't leave it without Dig. I can't get in Sky Pillar. Also I can't get in New Mauville.
    10. The fact I can access Master Balls and Regigigas at Level 60 with just 2 badges is astoundingly weird and breaks the balance of the game.
    11. I tried to find all the Legendaries but... The fact I can't access every area is offputting me. Also the fact I can't check the Johto map which I know is out of your control but any sort of documentation makes this less of a pain.
    12. The difficulty spikes significantly at the final area. I don't know if that's a good idea to spike THAT hard.
    13. The script at the end is a copy paste of the Ruby one. Including yourself being called STEVEN.
    14. You made the Johto Badges Key Items which is cool but also means that you run out of space. That made me unable to get the New Mauville key as the bag was full but the game never checks that as it didn't ever expect there to be as many Key Items. This locked me out of Zapdos I think?

    These aren't personal opinions, these are literal bugs that you can easily fix. Not once did I say stop working on it or that I hated, just that there are problems that you should focus on before adding more. Points 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10 and 11 are easily fixable in a day.
    What? I played through it and highlighted all the issues I had with it that you shoiuld fix before making more onto it as they took away from the fun. I will even come out and say I ENJOYED playing your game and the broken parts took away from that.

    If you call in depth analysis of what was wrong "destroying" when you aren't wanting to work on it to make it even better then idk what to say as I've actually given you a long list of things to fix which shouldn't take that long for some of them (like map issues, I even fixed those myself to get Lugia). Like this is all to make your hack better as there were some decent ideas in there!
    You may want to read this before continuing so that you have a very clear idea of what to look out for in what you've already made.
