You have to make use of the trainers with evs table(search for trainers with evs in the goto menu) and read the documentation on the original download to find out how it works
Hello, quick question, do you know if there's another way of applying the all-instruments patch? I'm using Li Yun's rombase for emerald and it's already using the same space as the all instruments patch for the Pokemon Data. Thanks.
There is a toml file inside the download. That toml file needs to be the same name as your rom, and in the same folder as your rom. After that HMA should automatically show you everything that I've managed to make compatible with it.
So uh, I kinda went and looked deeper, and I managed to figure out stuff about move editing, when I'm done I'll post a toml update that will clear things up a bit, but it'll also be accompanied by a txt file explaining stuff. Moves like dire claw still ain't possible, but we'll have a bit more...
One, that would also change Tri Attack, two I can't change what effects do, the Battle Engine upgrade messed with the move effects too much already, it's way too difficult to figure them out.
I've taken over for updating this base and I've made it compatible with HMA. I got Li Yun's permission. EDIT: You can find the updated on HMA's discord as stated by above comment, or on page 27 on this thread.
