Hey, I thought it would be fun to start something like a weekly discussion about writing tropes, to create some discussion. Something to explore just general story aspects that pop up a lot, so there's a very common ground to work from and discuss. Thought I'd run it by you, because that seemed like the nice thing to do, haha.

Yo mod, I have a question. I wanted to start a fanfic thread, but the problem is what makes it appealing: because I have zero art skills, I can easily adapt the comic strip idea into a piece of literature. And because of that, the chapters would probably be too short to qualify for the 1,000 word requirement. The idea was to post cute, little chapters with packed story enough to raise amusement for the reader, but short enough for convenience.

Would such an explicit format fly, or would it tank because of the official rules?
