He doesn't like the name, and he didn't become active until two months after he joined, where he posted 30-60 posts a day.

No, they're doing it so noobs won't get 6,000 to get a rank in a matter of a few months - and considering that the majority of members are between the ages of 12-14 - which is when people start joining forums and post like mad, not knowing of the reputation they may have withing that small, contained area of the Internet - so it is a problem.

Well, that seems to be the case.
Believe me, getting 1,000 posts in a month is near impossible and only Sonic Boom - a new user now respected as one of the greats (almost the Beachboy of SPPF) - has come close to accomplishing it, but he knows A LOT of information, so that's a different story.
