[Completed] Pokémon Island [v2.2] - 1025 Pokémon, Challenge Mode and more

At first glance I'd say the default controls cannot be changed, although the level of interface customization in this hack is not something commonly seen and that alone is a big plus. I'd like to ask the author what the EV mechanic is in this hack. Does it follow the Gen 5 mechanic (battle by...

FireRed hack: Pokémon: Liquid Crystal [3.3.xxxxx Live Beta]

Are you sure your ROM isn't trimmed, introed or something? I patched with the latest version and its running fine for me. Make sure you're using the correct ROM region too.

FireRed hack: Pokémon: Liquid Crystal [3.3.xxxxx Live Beta]

This is one of the hacks I've been following most closely throughout the years, and its great to see that it has came so far and its so polished. I really like the GBA as a platform and personally its the most pleasant to play pokemon on. Congratulations to everyone involved, I'll keep rooting...

[Completed] Pokémon Island [v2.2] - 1025 Pokémon, Challenge Mode and more

This game has a few very interesting concepts and its very ambitious in its reach and breadth, trying to create new ideas while getting rid of some hasslesome points the originals were (and are) plagued with, so overall congratulations to the author for the progress thus far. However, I felt...

    [Released] Pokémon Nightmare

I assume that unless there are very drastical changes on data addresses and whatnot from one update to another, it will probably be ok (although I'm just speaking of experience in general, the game author is better suit to answer you more throughly). But in any case keep a back of your save...

    Fire-Type Club v.2.5!

Hey that's pretty interesting, Chandelure is pretty novel when it comes to fire dual-typing so I imagine there can be some interesting strategies centered around it, and I agree with you, fires sweep well.

    Fire-Type Club v.2.5!

I don't recall to be honest, I believe it was a Ponyta. That said, a topic did occur to me - so I hope I'm not stealing your thunder, The Smart One, but I'll jot it down before I forget haha. Excluding pure types, what would the fire dual type you guys are most likely to use and why? (they can...

    [Developing] Pokémon: Thanatos Version

This looks like an interesting project, I really like what I'm seeing thus far, plus kudos for the original title, keep it up!

    FireRed hack: Pokemon: WARPED

Haha, ok, feel free ^.^ And keep up the good work.

    Fire-Type Club v.2.5!

Would be nice if the club was more active, where is everyone?

    So New it hurts.

Heh, I have about the same pokemon milleage, started all the way back to Red and Blue; there's a lot more to the franchise nowadays but its still as fun as it always was. I'm rather new to the community myself but I'm slowly fitting in (I mostly hang out at the hacks and fan game creation...

New member would like to say hello!

Hello! Welcome to PC. I'm not very fond of psyduck to be honest but I do think Golduck is very cool and powerful, so in one way or another I keep a psyduck around haha. I'm mostly into fire types but that's pretty obvious right? I hope you have fun here.

FireRed hack: Pokemon : Story of the Rocket

I had big hopes for Toxic Purple before it was discontinued. Hopefully this one will see completion, as I always find amusing when I can be the anti-hero in games (or the villain outright).

    Ruby hack: Pokemon School

Now, who thought school could actually be interesting? This is a unique concept to be sure. I'm not sure how far you are willing to extend the script/plot but this could, in time, even become a sort of light hearted, non-boring tutorial for newbie players. Imagine that, learning about...

    FireRed hack: Pokemon: WARPED

Generally I tend to avoid hacks that stray too far from the formula in wacky/unforseen ways, but reading this thread and the comments of the makers, I got a good feeling of it all, that is, there is a good ammount of synergy between them and its obvious that good things come out of such...
