Blu·Ray

Hi!
I'm Blu·Ray, an 18 year old male from the happiest country in the world - the insignificant too-small-to-be-worth-noting-but-big-enough-to-make-me-feel-uncomfortable kingdom of Denmark. I originally come from Holland, so I'm bilingual, and English is my third language. In fact, Pokémon has played a huge role in me learning the English language at a young age, because the games simply don't exist in Danish nor Dutch.

Well - the obvious one: Pokémon. :P
Video games in general - mainly Nintendo and retro style games as well as strategy games. Some of my favorites include the Legend of Zelda series, Fire Emblem, Phoenix Wright, as well as indie games like Cave Story and Spelunky.
Technology - I know a lot about technology, I built my own computer, and I'm learning to build my own software.
Science - This is mainly a topic of interest, but not something I know a ridiculous amount about. I like to follow the scientific discoveries and try to get a better understanding of the world and the technology around us.

I love to read books especially fantasy and science fiction books, and I'm currently reading "Metro 2034", a post-apocalyptic novel by Dmitry Glukhovsky and "The Windup Girl" by Paolo Bacigalupi, who is a great dystopian sci-fi writer.

Additionally I like to talk about politics, about ethics and philosophy, which I enjoy discussing in the "Round Table" subforum.
