Surprisingly, no one died and I don't think too many people got sick. It could have been much worse, though. It's going to take up to 5 hours for everyone to get off the ship. The first passengers are disembarking now. :]

Yeah, I love to watch and keep up with the news, which is funny because most people our age don't even bother. I like to be informed of what's happening not only in the U.S., but also all around the world.

This story has captured my interest, though, because I've been on three Carnival cruises in the past. It's terrible when these types of things happen and you're stuck on a huge ship with 4k+ people. Apparently the ship stinks of sewage because there's no power to keep the toilets on the ship flushing, etc. They told people to pee and poop in bags, and there was sewage running along the walls onto different floors and in the cabins. & of course, you have like no good food. People were eating onion and cucumber sandwiches. The conditions sucked. Luckily, it'll be over soon.

Definitely, but it doesn't stop me, although it can be quite frustrating.

I'm watching live coverage of the Carnival Triumph returning to Alabama after that whole ordeal with the engine fire. :> It's so sad to see what happened to those poor people who were just trying to have a nice vacation. :[

Not sure if you've heard of the story.

I think it's partly due to the large amount of members and guests on at one time. I could be wrong, though.

No, please, no more waiting! Haha. :p I hope that they announce that they're making R/S/E remakes at least within a year after they release X & Y. I'm not getting my hopes up, though! Nope! I've been brokenhearted too many times before by this franchise! xD You're right, though, the graphics aren't that bad, but the games and the region itself definitely deserve an upgrade.

I hope they went crazy with planning the gameplay for X & Y and make everything non-traditional! It'd be really fun to see a ton of stuff we've never been introduced to before in the previous games/regions. A fire/psychic starter would be awesome! One of my favorite types is the psychic one, and you're right, there aren't too many in the beginning in the game nor during the entirety of the game, either.

It'll be interesting to see whether or not they keep the 525 base stat pattern for Ninfia. It's never crossed my mind, really. I just hope it has some decent stats compared to its weak pre-evloution, Eevee. Eevee is cute and all, but man, it's useless if you don't evolve it. :[

& yeah! X & Y is set to be released worldwide this October, which is definitely something we've never seen in the past! Usually the pattern is that Japan gets it first, then North America a few months later, then Europe like a month later, then Australia/NZ, the rest of the world, etc.

We've been waiting for R/S/E remakes for what, over 10 years now? It's about time, Game Freak! :P

When new games were released, I used to always buy the two versions which were released, but then I usually end up selling the version I used the least. It was kinda dumb of me, tbh. Lol.

We have such limited information that it's so difficult to tell, but I agree with you that it does look its second type will be something other than fighting. I really do hope that's the case. I want to see something different. :]

Ninfia doesn't really look like it could be any other type but normal, and you make a really good point that it could be one of those Pokémon which is able to use all the attacks of the other Eeveelutions. It's going to be interesting to see what it ends up being.

I wish they had a CoroCoro magazine for North America, haha. It sucks how Japan always gets everything first. I'm surprised Nintendo America hasn't released much information about X & Y because these will be the first games to have a worldwide release instead of Japan getting them first and then N.A. after, etc.

Whatever the region is based off of, I'm just glad we're getting our first 3D games. I do hope that we get Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald remakes after X & Y, though, as I've been waiting for those for a long time! :] And a 3DS version of those would be super awesome!

I usually buy both versions, but I don't think I'm gonna waste $30-40 on another game when all that will probably be different are some Pokémon that are version exclusives + the main legendary. I think Y will definitely be my choice.

I also favor fire starters over all the others. It's looking more and more a possibility of it being a dual type, and I really hope they do mix up things and make it fire/psychic as opposed to the traditional fire/fighting. I was speculating with another member earlier about Ninfia, and I completely agree with you. I think it's going to be a stronger "normal" type version of Eevee. I don't think there are going to be any new types introduced into the games. Many people were predicting that Ninfia was a "light type" and all this, but I just don't agree with that.

I mean, if you look at the Pokémon world, it's very much like the world we live in. I'd assume that all the regions we've had so far are connected by oceans just like ours are here on Earth. It'd just be interesting to see whether or not the region in X & Y will resemble that of Europe or something. I love speculating about any newly announced games, but I've always kept my expectations low with the Pokémon series because all of our speculations usually end up being false. xD

I have to admit that Yveltal's sprite design looks fricken amazing! They really did a good job on it. Xerneas's is cool, too, but I prefer Yveltal's. I'm probably going to end up buying the Y version just because. :]

Which start do you like the most? We don't know much about types/move sets yet, but I really like Fennekin and Chespin's design. All of them are kinda cute, though. :3 We also just recently got new information on Ninfia, the new Eeveelution! Its design looks awesome! I wonder what type it is. o:

& <3 np! I love to welcome new users because, well, they're more likely to stay when people are welcoming to them and talk to them. It's not easy coming into a super large community not knowing anyone and having to make friends. :)

Yeah, that'd be epic if we got a more real-life perspective in the games. :D Too bad we've only got such limited information thus far. I hope they release more in the months coming.

Yeah! It's gonna definitely be interesting because we get awesome 3D graphics and a whole new adventure (which looks way more realistic - like if it were somewhere in Europe). I can't wait!
