Well, in this end, is mostly a child's forum, in that way we try to prevent many many younger eyes from viewing things like that. D; Personally, I wanted to leave them there, because I thought it made for a good debate, but at the same time I didn't want too many younger members seeing what was said. :/ That's not what PC is for. There's plenty of other forums to hold debates of that standard on.. PC isn't one of them, not once they turn into a fight, or flamewar.

Most of the times, when people challenge actions taken by a staff member it's becuase they're trying to cause problems or just overreacting. While all this was occuring, I was quick to judge - which is part of the reason why I said you were "rather" intelligent. I've seen your posts around and you hold up well with your arguments and never have I seen any of your logic as a flawed opinion.

I was surprised to see something like that coming from you, simply because I took it more as an "omg how dare you delete my post i didn't do anything wrong!!!!" like most people who get their posts deleted, infracted, warned, or otherwise tend to do. I do think you're highly intelligent and I apologize for being so quick to judge regarding your challenge.

I was talking about when you said you were offended in the actual thread, when I said I was offended over your many gay comments. But whatever, I said sorry and obviously I don't want to offend people but you're really stubborn so dw

Ugh. After being involved with an argument with the person you were in an argument with, I can totally see why you replied the way you did to my post. I didn't intend to scold you - really, I didn't. I do apologize if it came across that way.

You seem to be rather intelligent from the posts you make. But considering the fact that you're pretty much disregarding anything not one, but two staff members say who are trying to state something that was done wrong, and trying to guide you in the right direction and labeling it as incorrect and unjust I really don't understand. I don't see why I would have any need to unnecessarily delete your post when I'm one of the people pushing for more controversial topics to be permitted within the Other Chat forum specifically.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems like you're one of those forum goers who just rebel against any action a staff member takes, whether you believe it was the right thing to do or not... as if you think they're out to get you. Seriously, I have better things to do than run around the forum swaying my power on posts for no reason at all.

We received reports based on the argument you and the other member were having, Drew posted once warning everyone, that didn't work (considering two posts were deleted after she posted), so I posted reminding everyone to respect each other. It was not an "off topic post." It was an attempt to bring the conversation back to where it should be, away from personal slanders and insults. You replied to me. Typically within this community, replying to a mod post has always had the result of it being deleted for being off topic. That's just the way it's always been. A moderator posting trying to get the conversation back to productivity and away from disrespect being thrown between member and member isn't meant to be replied to. It's simply meant to be a segway and a reminder from the problem to get back on subject. If you have a problem with what a moderator says in those types of posts, that's what private messages are for. I just did what I learned throughout my time as staff and dealing with posts.

Whether you want to believe me or not, I'm not one of those staff members who likes to sit down and censor discussions. If I was unjust, I would have infracted you. You'll notice I did no such thing. But if you so sternly believe that I was doing that to assert my "moral superiority" and did so to criticize others, so be it. I haven't the time nor desire to argue with you about it any further than this message.

That was a mod post, more so directed towards that other person than you. Only one sentence had anything to do with you. I know you were there to contribute to the discussion rather than marching around, ignoring others' opinions and trying to insult others. 

According to a lot of the staff members here, debates in general are iffy all around. Because they always get out of hand, people always end up arguing, and someone always turns it into a flame war. In this case, PinkSquid was the one who needed to stop since you were more just defending yourself, and that makes sense. We weren't jumping on you, so much as we were telling her to stop. :/

Because.. every post in that thread is supposed to be a direct answer to the thread's title question. Replying to someone about how they failed to read some posts.. has nothing to do with the topic.
Either way, she's dragging things out, and I'm about ready to close that thread. >_>

Uuuuuh, it was just a small post that I deleted, because you two were arguing in one or two posts without actually staying on topic in said posts. x_o
