Hey, that's quite a big ask - it's not a trivial process, though it's basically "use pk3DS". Any recent-ish guide on using that should be fine, e.g.: https://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=398779.
A couple of tips: If you find anything that says to use '3DS hacking toolkit", ignore that...
Hey, sadly I was not able to get this to work when I tried. That was a few years ago and it may be doable now with newer tools/layeredfs, but I'm no longer working on this hack, so I'm not likely to try any time soon.
That would depend on how the game generates trainer mons; if they're not the same every time you could end up with a mon being shiny in one battle and not shiny in a rematch. If they're consistent I don't see why not.

I might add a secondary...
Hey, I think that's the first time I've heard of this bug, thanks for reporting it! I would assume Cheek Pouch doesn't work at all until proven otherwise, though it could just be the type berries that don't trigger it.
Hmm, I'm not sure what else to try, it sounds like everything is set up correctly. I'd prefer not to take this to DMs, it's better to keep things like this public in case someone else has the same problem.
Same way as vanilla USUM, level up in the magnetic area (which IIRC is the power plant).
