Hello there! this is my problem: In any script i write, every time i use the hidesprite command, the sprite disappears but reappears again after the player moves one step. How can i make a sprite disappear completely?

I know that callasm 0x0809FC91 lets the player choose their name (for hacks when the intro is removed), But if i want to name the rival the same way, what is the callasm to use?

I don´t know if it is just my problem, but whenever i install anyone of this rombase´s versions (1.0, 1.1, mkarthick98´s 1.3, etc) and the mega evolutions routine together, the ROM crashes on a black screen and tools like PGE or D&D show errors that don´t appear if ONE of the two patches...
