Online Pokemon games are different. Websites can make money, and by making an online game using pokemon you can technically make profit from the MMO and use trademarked work which you do not have rights to.

Stand alone fan games like FL are different since not only is it non-profit, but doesn't allow itself to be. I've had people offer to pay full price for the finished game, but I don't desire it or anything. So you'd be fine so long as it's a fan game and not a money maker.

Let me answer that with another question, why would a multi-billion $ company based in Japan bother?

Awesome, well that's even more useful. What needs to be done in rendering? Is that just the output when you're finished the animation?

I'm pretty sure that once the animation is done,it'll need to be recorded, and ripped into individual .png frames so it can be added to the game. Since I don't think RMXP will handle any video file very well.

That's fine dude, thanks for letting me know. That image has some rough polygonal shapes, I think a more smooth alternative would be better. But that sort of style is fine. But a detailed one could also work, so it depends on which would look better really.

It is fine. And same I used to, but I stopped when my friends stopped. They were really good though. They could get to level 60 - 90 in 3 hours. I sucked. :P

That'll be awesome. We'll discuss the scene behind Ho-oh after, then the animation, and how it can loop.

Cut scenes perhaps based on some of my maps for when a big event happens, and something for the intro I guess. I haven't thought hugely about it. Thing HGSS, and the introduction, and even when Ho-oh & Lugia are flying.

If you could animate something like that, it'd be amazing for the title screen actually.

Hmm, maybe full scenes would be out of your way then. But I do need a model of Ho-oh for a titlescreen, and not even textured.

I'm in Game Development now. Using RMXP. Well I'm not sure, you're studying 3D stuff now yeah? How good would you be at making models or cut scenes?
