  • Didn't the plot holes bug you?
They overstated how much powerful the recoil of the gun is, and then pick a little blind kid as the suspect. That, and he had no motive to kill the victim, and iirc no evidence. Yet they suspected him.

Anyway, Dual Destinies is pretty good. Gonna start on that?
Are you in case 2? That one is actually alright. Case 1 of that game is the best one, probably the best case 1.

It's the next two case. Case 3 in particular...worst case in the series. Can't wait to see your reaction on the motive of that one.
    How'd you like it?

Yeah the end rubbed me wrong and ruined an otherwise perfect ending. Still the climax was incredible.
I just don't think Godot should have been executed, since all he did was defend a weak person. He SHOULD have been charged for covering the murder, but not executed for the murder.
Yeah his motive wasn't strong (they never explained why he wanted control over both the police and prosecution office to begin with), but he did have one.
Heh now that I think about it, none of the "final" criminals have good motives. Engarde was just an ass, I won't spoil T&T but the motive was weak too. AJ's was so stupid. Dual Destiny's...eh. AAI was Gant except worse. I'd say Von Karma too but AAI2 opened up a very interesting reason for Von Karma to commit everything.

AW is pretty damn great. Pure, addictive strategy. You can get any of them pretty cheap so if you wanna give hem a try you should go ahead.
Sami from Advance Wars, a turn based strategy game. You know, from the same people behind Fire Emblem.

Also I was reading over past VMs and I missed something you said. Actually, Gant did have a motive. Nothing against Neil Marshall, but he stumbled across the scene and saw Ema was in the middle of it, so he took the opportunity to commit murder and fabricate evidence to pin it on her, all so he could blackmail Lana to gain control over the prosecution office. I don't remember why he wanted the prosecution office though.

    And enjoy T&T!
So you saw the amazing twist? Now you HAVE to see the breakdown.
This one? Or are you talking about another avatar?
There's a good reason for that. Did you finish the case?
Edgeworth still pretty much helps Wright by the second half.
Yeah it was really great. I still personally like case 4 from that game the best, with Von Karma. (best prosecutor)

Seeing as you like Ema, I'd be weary about Apollo Justice. They butchered her character there, HARD.
There's nothing about the DL-6 case in the first game. Von Karma will appear but eh. Investigations 2 does actually have a pretty cool case that's linked heavily to DL-6 but Capcom didn't localize that one. And yeah the circus case is often regarded as the worst in the series, but don't worry, the one after it (the one you're on) is absolutely amazing and commonly referred to as the best case in the series. And I agree. The twist is really crazy.

Dual Destinies is great but it's not paced as well as the original trilogy and I'm iffy on the criminals. The DLC case is the best one, though.
Can't say I remember any crazy twist (for the last case anyway), it wasn't s crazy as AA1 and AA2 anyway. AA3 has my least favorite last case in the trilogy actually, but it was still very very good, and the rest of the game is very consistent in quality.

Ace Attorney Investigations...you'll just get very mixed response. Personally I say it's worth it, but don't go in expecting the same court room drama. Instead, expect a very quirky detective story that shouldn't be taken seriously at all. The story is nonsensical, but it makes it up with the characters.
Enjoy, T&T is the best in the series.
I'm talking about A Link Between Worlds. It's really great. And you tried Kid Icarus yet?
My eczema got pretty severe during Christmas so I can't say I enjoyed it as much as I hoped. Luckily I recovered quickly afterwards so I'm enjoying the rest of the break. How was yours?

If VC is included I got you covered. I honestly think Donkey Kong GB and Wario Land 2/3 (1 too if you think you'll enjoy a traditional mario games with a twist) are must plays. How's Ace Attorney for you?

Also I think I found my new favorite 3DS game. No Kid Icarus mind you, but pretty damn close.
GCN is my favorite console that gen because of the holy trinity of F-Zero GX, SSB Melee and Donkey Kong Jungle Beat. (You could extend that and add Metroid Prime and Resident Evil 4) No GCN collection is complete without those games imo.
GF aren't really involved with the shadow games tho. The developers who made those actually released an apparently very good RPG on the eShop called Denpa Men.
It and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance are two gamecube games that I really want but I know I'l never play. :( And yeah there's a DS game but I kinda felt I should somehow play the GCN game first. Custom Robo Arena is a pretty cute game.
Pretty sure Nintendo has a strict policy on only releasing one MK title per hardware. And whoa really? I always wanted to try out the series, but the GCN game is seriously expensive. I'll give this one a try.
That's my problem with it. SF64 is clearly designed for on-rails. It's not game breaking or anything but it's annoying.

Why not? Didn't hear anything to detract that...
How's Pilotwings? And yeah I actually hate All-Range mode. Won't lie, it's probably my least favorite thing in Star Fox 64. Ugh.
Yeah would be cool to see, those games were such a breath of fresh air with an awesome atmosphere.
