A great artist might be able to get over annoyances. I can't draw at all (mostly because I can't draw a straight line /o\ probably my best drawing are the trollface doodles I make on my books when I'm bored during classes), so I'm pretty sure I won't be able to draw a line. >_<

I assume your emulator tried to start your Platinum rom from the DS menu. Search for options to start the cartridge directly and it should work.
