If you were to design a Rocket executive for a game, what Pokemon would they use?
Weezing, Sharpedo, Houndoom, Crobat, Another Crobat, Persian
No one can hope to beat a trainer who has two Crobats.
Believe it or not, I've met quite some shiny Pokemon and killed or ran from them. I was always aware that shiny Pokemon are rare and valuable, but I never understood what made them special besides their fancy sprite.
My absolute worst noob moment was when I entered Agatha's Elite Four room in...
It happens to me all the time, in every game. There's a number of Pokemon I like, and I like them all equally, so It's really tough to choose who to actually use >_>
What would you do if the Rocket trio suddenly popped up in your living room?
I'd totally kick them so hard so they'll fly and make that bling thing in the sky of theirs. Then I'd immediately regret it, run after them, and help them steal Pikachu, hopefully beating up Ash in the process.
I totally would, but not with a lv. 8 Rattata I wouldn't. First, I'd break into the Daycare, kidnap some powerful Pokemon that some fool left there, and go war on the gyms with them in hand. Or I could simply sell the Pokemon and bribe the gym leaders for the badges. Or I could sneak into each...
Silver, hands down. He's the only rival so far who actually wanted to become boss as much as the player, and was willing to crush and pillage (or however you put it) in order to defeat you. Blue isn't bad either, but he's still too easy-going for my taste. Pokemon training is serious business...
Indeed, I was talking about those old Godfather kind of mafia. And while the first generation Grunts looked like SS officers, the later versions reminded me more of these guys. I think the touch was lost a bit there. I want TR to be real evil!
I second Berlusconi = Giovanni. But then again, any italian mafia-looking dude = Giovanni. Also, first time I ever fought a Team Rocket trainer in generation 1 and saw this sprite, my first reaction was "whoah, nazi assault?!"
They would totally be older than the protagonists, around 20 somewhere. Jessie also looks older than James by... a large margin. Meowth is immortal so meh >_>
Don't know if this topic has come up before, but I'll give it a shot:
If you were a Team Rocket operative, what town would you want to...
Gastly and its evolutions. I can't sleep at night if I don't have one at the top of my party at any given time, in any game where they're available. And if they're not, I'll hax them in. No discussion.
I dislike starters, because I find them generic and plain, so I release them right away and replace them with a Pokemon I like, not necessarily of the same type. In second gen, for example, I dropped Chikorita for a Zubat and Magicarp (call me lame), but it was very challenging and satisfying to...
