Usually always. I feel I have some sort of obligation, haha. This is actually the first game(SS) that I didn't use it for everything. I kept Meganium until I battled Red, then I ditched it to combine use the EVs from both that, and the previous game.

I'm EVing a Dratini in Attack and Speed. I'm training it against Ekans and Bellsprout for Att, and Rattata for speed. I started without any items and got both stats up to 100, and it leveled up 5 times during that (started at 15, recieved at Game corner) and the stats increased by 2-3 points...
