I am also having this problem, I didn't realize it was with Platinum only though, I'll give it a try with another game, hopefully one day it will be fixed, but for now I am happy to know its not just me, and only with Platinum.

I only just discovered this hack and it looks really awesome! You've clearly put a lot of work into it and I cant wait to try it out. I'm also very excited to see the new overhaul you're working on. I hope things go smoothly for you in the process! <3

Although I'm still learning myself I believe the site HackRomTools has pretty much everything you would need. They have explanations on everything each program does and such. All you have to do is put in the password when you unzip them but its just the name of the website so its easy.

Basically I have this new sprite for Blue/Green/Gary and I can insert it and the palette is fine and everything but when I insert it it sort of....distorts? The only way I can really describe it is with the attached image... The first is the original sprite obv...the second is the edited one...

Use LunarIPS to patch it and see if that works better. Just google it :)

Made mine for hacking a while ago then had a lull as I got busy and gave up on hacking for a while. Then when I got back into it I realized I still had an account here.

I have a question. I am having issues with the intro sprites. Your tutorial on editing them worked, but I'd rather not re draw what I've already done...is there a way to insert the intro sprites like the 16 color ones? Have I missed it already being explained? I don't know...so can you help me...
