  • Yeah, XCX, not Shulk's game. I thought that XCX was pretty good, though, y'know, individual tastes and whatnot. It doesn't seem to be universally loved.

If you want to get back into Tales, Berseria would probably be more the way to go. Zestiria isn't truly bad, but if you've been falling out of love with the series it's certainly not going to rekindle your love for it. I haven't played Berseria though, but apparently most people consider it better than Zestiria (which I have played).

....what is this about pachinko machines tho?
    I am?

But uh some of what I've played over the years RPG-wise has been like Mass Effect, Disgaea, Tales, Xenosaga and Xenoblade Chronicles X (really want a sequel for that), Dark Souls, Phantasy Star (forever salty that SEGA promised to bring PSO2 to the West but clearly has no intention to).

So far I've gone through 3 and Peace Walker in MGS, and am slowly making my way through V.

I wouldn't say I'm terribly good at Smash either. Some days I think I should quit really
Most of what I play is some manner of RPG really, though Sonic was fun for a while there, and lately I've been playing some Metal Gear Solid.

That and Smash 4, I play a fair bit of that.
I'll only tell you my first name, which is Raphael.

Also, Cid, I learned that it was 8-4 who localized Echoes, not the Treehouse. They were also involved in the localization for Awakening.
idk, I guess shinies just never super appealed to me that much for some reason. Suppose I was never much of a collector.

    And it's Zac.
Sounds like you had it rough for a while, hope everything is fine now.

Yeah, ratings generally don't mean as much these days (in the 80's/90's they had viewing figures of 24.0 so it just goes to show that habits have changed) but I find interest in them all the same.

Currently raising my shiny Ninetales and Arcanine while also debating on just exactly what sort of team I want for the tiny tourney lol. Just the sort of break I need from exams (well exam, only one left)!
Definitely not being roasted this time. Thanks for the mention in the user appreciation thread by the way!
Even on Tumblr I've been getting roasted about my stance on the anime. My rants (which are my opinions expressed) have been making people blacklist the Pokeani tag entirely.

It's like I'm being forced to have to appreciate the Sun & Moon series, which is so horrible. I don't like having to add additional tags like "salt" or "rant" just to get them back.
I know the real reason why PC was the one forum I stuck around with for so long, and that's like you said. Opinions here are respected, regardless of how divisive they are. PC has members that will understand you and your opinion.

The internet is a place where we all deserve a voice. A place where we must all respect freedom of speech, and trying to shut that out is very saddening.
I had to quit Serebii today because the anime section there is so heated. Every single time I show flaws relating to the Sun & Moon anime, I get attacked for it because everyone posting there is acting like Sun & Moon is the perfect saga of the anime when it's really not.

The anime fandom has never been the same ever since Ash lost the Kalos League, and Sun & Moon was a way to rub it in the face even further. I would never find myself hating so badly on a single saga solely because of how Ash looks and acts, but it happened and that's why I had to go and cry in a corner.

Having autism really sucks, because I know it has made me a victim of bullying, and now a victim of roasting.
Changing character personalities has been a thing with NOA since the NES days. Doesn't make it bad, as they tend to make characters more enjoyable for the west than in Japan. Take Gregor from Awakening for example. He's generic in the original Japanese version, but he's given a different personality in the western version that made him well-loved by players. If you're speaking about Soleil, there's a good reason why her character had to be changed.
