The only shiny I found was in FireRed. It was an Oddish, and I did catch it but I didn't really care much about shinies back then.

I've always really liked Cerulean City for some reason. Liked it in R/B/Y, liked it even more in FR/LG. Ooh, and Lavender Town yeaahhh. I have to admit I find that town quite peaceful... :o

Platinum for sure. More stuff, etc. =P Diamond was the first 4th gen game I played, but I soon regretted choosing it over Pearl as I've always liked Palkia's design more. Not to mention dat Water/Dragon typing. So Pearl would be my second choice heehee

I'm gonna have to say Mudkip. Its typing is nice and the only problems you'll probably have are against the rival with their grass starter. It's a good tank and has decent attack power as well.

I agree with ya! Definitely Lilycove for me. Another choice would be Verdanturf Town. So peaceful and pretty~ Ahhh I like small towns. XD. Outside of Hoenn, I'd really like to at least visit Laverre City. I mean, gosh. So amazingggg.
