I'm pretty sure those hacks just popped up in people's heads after reading yours. Most of the n00bs around here tend to post immediately after they've had a "brilliant" idea, which, most of the time, they had thought up of within the previous three and a half minutes. At least we still have a few people who actually think through things before they post.

Also, I think EV meant back when Rocket's Revenge was at it's all-time high, like when it got all of those awards and stuff. That's when all of those Rocket hacks came up. It faded away for a while, then the idea became "golden" again when you brought up your thread.

OH CRAP. I forgot about your map. Usually, if I'm a week late after a deadline, I forgot. I absolutely promise you when I get back from school (if I have it tomorrow, since we're getting a snowstorm) I will start and finish it. I give you permission to yell at me if I get it in late xD

There's a thing called the Power Law, which shows exactly what you said. It's also source of the 80-20 rule (20% of people consume 80% of the world's resources, etc.). The math is confusing, but you can use it in any practical application. For example, a small handful of Pokémon fangames are so well-done that they get almost all of the attention, and the vast majority of games receive close to no attention.

Well, I'm a second semester senior so it's a breeze. Work on Pokémon: Hall of Fame has been progressing well. I also got more hours on my part-time job.
