The only checks I know of are IVs =< 31, EVs =< 510 (Individual =< 255), and no illegal moves, like Hydro Cannon on Magikarp.

I just checked and as long as the Pokemon seem legitimate to the game, there aren't issues. Pokemon like Hoopa and Diancie for example, however won't trade because they are seen as events. They do save in the bank though.

My unluckiest moments usually involve LC Random Battles, the other person (Jelli) usually has the hax on their side.

I generally go all out offensive; no weather teams, or setting up entry hazards, which has worked out well for me so far. My newest team is balanced, so it's hard to get used to.

I think that my best battle was when a poor fellow on main let me set up 4x speed, 4x attack Ninjask. Everything was 1hko after that.

^ That, lol. If the main Pokemon Showdown server doesn't enforce COPPA, why should smaller ones. Nobody's gonna get sued for letting kids battle Pokemon. All that will do is decrease activity because we'll lose members on a server that already has frequent inactivity.
