I’m gonna be oddly specific and say May 9th. That was around when we got the second Sun and Moon trailer, and it’s one day before Detective Pikachu comes out.
Visually armored Pokémon could be cool and all, but stats wise, what would make them different than Megas? Seems like a useless addition.
On a related note, Digimon were far from the first to give their creatures enhanced forms and armor. I doubt GF is copying specifically them.
Looker’s practically a shoe-in to be returning, since he’s been in every generation debut game since gen 4. Ryuki also seems pretty likely to make an appearance, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Galar is actually his home region.
But the obvious people aside, it’d be neat to see Lillie or Gladion...
More pure Flying types, please. If Bug-types can get away with not having Normal stuck on them all the time, then so should the birds.
Also, give Zeraora a Mega or Armor or whatever, just get my boy the Electric/Fighting type he deserves.
Here’s an interesting theory I just saw: what if the Shield legendary has a rose theme? The reason for this being is that the Shield logo looks like it has thorns coming out of it, and that flower mural on the map looks like it has a shield on it.
I’m gonna guess:
Grookey- Grass/Rock or Grass/Fairy. Grookey’s theorized to have a music theme, so I can see its final evo either using some sort of rock like a drum or using the power of music to heal/grow things, like what he does in the trailer.
Scorbunny- Fire/Steel or Fire/Electric...
This may have been brought up earlier in the thread, but what do you guys want this gen’s pseudo-legendary to be?
Even though I’m kinda sick of Dragons being the pseudos, I think a mecha dragon based one would be pretty cool.
Like everyone else has said, recent Pokémon games have had a bad habit of revealing too much about the games. IMO, the perfect amount of pre-release content revealed would be:
-A little more than half of the new Pokémon in the games (maybe like, 60%? I dunno.)
-If there are new Megas/Regional...
